In my case, I had inadvertently saved my document so that table lines were not appearing in my printed document. Watching your video and reversing what you did, helped me bring back the lines. Thank you!
Thank you...Can't believe how difficult the Microsoft made the instructions for performing this simple action...Your vid made it so simple! Thanks much!
Hi! To remove a line in a table hover your cursor over the line, you'll see the icon change, then click and that line will be highlighted. In the toolbar at the top of your screen, select the icon called "border width" and set it to 0.
In my word document it opens with light colour boarder or lines, when I hit enter it continues. If enter a few times the line shows up. It must be something that was applied inadvertently and I don't know what I did.
I don't want to remove all of the lines, just the vertical lines in one row. I have spent a half hour searching for how to do this. I don't see it in this video.
Have you actually removed them or just made them invisible? How do you actually erase them so there is no longer a boarder between two cells? Thats the trick I want to see.
Why can you not remove the table and leave text behind. If you have filled the text in first? Could do this on Windows 7. Could not do it on Windows 10. A backward step!
Deleting a table is more than a little tricky to find out how to do, BUT it can be done! Right-click anywhere in the table and selecting the option "delete table" from the menu that shows up.
Well this does not remove the table lines as the topic suggests. I only makes them invisible. The demo would have been if you showed how to convert tabled text into normal text.
How the hell do u delete the blue dotted lines around....they dont show when u print but who the hell is printing these days....it's like they're the ghost of the already deleted solid table lines
Bogus demo..... take all lines already there on whole document off..... None of this creating a line and table then taking it off. Thought you were expert. Now do it over. we need this.........................Thanks Decorated Disabled Veteran Kevin

Why can you not remove the table and leave text behind. If you have filled the text in first? Could do this on Windows 7. Could not do it on Windows 10. A backward step!
how do you remove the table completely?
Deleting a table is more than a little tricky to find out how to do, BUT it can be done! Right-click anywhere in the table and selecting the option "delete table" from the menu that shows up.

This hides them not remove them completely. There's a difference
You're hiding them, not removing right?
The question is whether or not your going to make mexico pay for the borders
