Not only are they mammals, similar to pets like cats and dogs, Flareon are at average 2'11" and 55.1 lbs, which means that they're around the size of a dog? And, with their impressive base Special Defense stat of 110, that means they're able to handle some really emotional situations. Due to their flame based biology, Flareon would likely be very warm to cuddle on a winter's day, so there's no doubt in my mind you could cry while hugging a Flareon, and it'll still be happy, so happy that'll you'll start feeling better even if you had the worst day of your life? They can also learn the moves Superpower and Flare Blitz, which means that if you're in trouble, it'd be incredibly easy for Flareon to fight for you to save you from getting beaten up.
