This sounds a bit weird! Shouldn't you be moving into the caravan? An older lady sleeping in a caravan in her garden isn't right at all no matter how you look at it
In her latest video she explains that the caravan is just a side option if she wants her own personal space and time. She has her room in the house that she can stay in

Here's the thing with trolls, they need attention, they need feeding. They hate to be ignored. They are easy to deal with, you just ignore and block. I suspect you might have 1 individual who is targetting you from multiple accounts, seen a few comments from accounts set up only hours before. Don't give them any air. They soon shrivel up

Please ditch the caravan idea. A woman like Liz should be in her own home, not face the indignity of living in a caravan in her own backyard. For Gods sake, she is Simon's mum. I would give up my own home for my mum if she was forced to live in a caravan. I am not a troll, just someone who is very concerned about another human being. I'm sorry to hear that things are so crumby for you at this particular time, but onwards and upwards Georgina! We lived in a pretty bad area for a long time until we got lucky and have now moved to a nice area in a different town, so you never know what the future holds for you. I'm older than you so good things could just be round the corner - try not to get stressed, whatever is meant to be won't ever pass you by.

Ive been watching videos on here from computer experts, they make the scammers lives very difficult and Ive learned a lot from their videos, how not to get caught out etc, they are well worth the watching , you definitely learn from them . My parents got scammed too, it turned out it was the bank teller in the bank , she had scammed over a hundred thousand pounds from the elderly. I hope your mum is ok.

This sounds like a great move. I can’t wait to see how you guys make it your own. That will be fun. Trust me when I say my life didn’t play out like I thought it would. Some things did and some very big things did not. I have regrets that will go to the grave with me. The best thing is to keep seeing the positive in life. You are rich in many ways that matter.

There are way more things to be outraged about in the UK, than what three consenting adults do with their living and working situation. How about the negative commenters get some life experience and live in the real world? Open your curtains and get some fresh air! Georgina, Simon and Liz do not need to justify their decisions with anyone, to be frank, it's none of our business.
The housing market in the UK is in chaos, for me personally my rent has increased by 73% in just 3 years, morgage rates have increased exponentially and the cost of living is rising constantly. If three adults want to help each other for probably more reasons than just financial, that is their business. The only thing Georgina is probably guilty of, is oversharing, but again that is her perogative.
But hey on the bright side, outrage and outcry + comments (negative or not) = Ad revenue!
To Georgina, Simon and Liz, do what makes you all happy and comfortable! Much love!
Exciting new chaper for u. I moved beginning of the year besg thing i did. Was stuck in a rut been at old flat half my life moved in at 18 and now 36 so this new change is great. Hope it works out well for u. Love ure videos. X

Love your vlogs Georgina - looks like you have a lot on your plate at the moment, make sure you take some time for yourself. Moving is always stressful. I don't know what it's like in the UK but here in Australia rent is soo high & there's a massive shortage. People with mortgages have been faced with increased interest rates, I think it was 10 rate rises in a row since Aug 2022, it's been 4.35% since Nov 2023 though but our inflation is still too high & everything has gone up. I'm not sure if Liz is mortgage free, but moving in with her sounds like the best move at the moment - it's great she will have her own space in the caravan - family is important. I totally understand your frustration with the property market - I live in Oslo, Norway, in my late 40s and have been renting all my life, turned down by every bank in the country for a mortgage despite having a steady, full time job as a 6th form college teacher for 20 years. And I pay 2-3 times more in RENT than my friends with houses do (single, too, which makes it even worse). Very draining to always be at the mercy of landlords and contracts spanning 1-3 years, never knowing if you get it renewed or have to move AGAIN. Without parents to help (mine are of the kind that think when you're 18, you're an adult and can't move back home), it's impossible to buy OR save up the deposit as the rent is so high. I totally get your sentiments - you always think that you will grow up, be married and have a home. Feels very unfair. I have students who buy flats and I, as their teacher, don't stand a chance to even buy a garage! Rant over! x

Won’t a caravan be cold in the winter though especially at night? TBH I’ve stayed in a caravan in late winter/spring with just a gas fire and it was very cold

Also i hear what you say about when younger you have expectations of having your own home....but when you think about it.....who cares if you own it outright, rent from private or family or like me...still living with family.
Makes zero difference as long as you are happy and have a roof over your head.
I had to move back with parents years ago when split with ex, cant afford own place if i wanted too as i can only work part time.
But im not fussed and neither is parents. Its all what we think or what other people think we should have....but its aload of crap isnt it.

I have Jean's that i wear loads of different times and dont wash for ages because i do not go far. Often i get dressed go to the shops and maybe in then for 2 hours max and thats it

Keep your head up. Things will get better! There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. I totally understand about not being where you thought you would be in life. I’m 38 and thought I’d have a family and kids of my own. Neither has happened.

It feels sad .Though looking at the bigger picture it may be the best thing.
While you continue to pay rent that money is doing nothing for your family. The house you are moving to needs a lot of work butt's money spent enhancing a family home which is good money spent making something owned better .

Sounds like a good way to save a lot of money.
Georgina, you are a survivor, you'll make it work. And you'll come to make it your own and settle in just fine. And I'm sure Liz will love having you there, its a load off her mind, and you all seem to spend alot of time together anyway. I think its a sign of the times family living together or renting out rooms, I live with my son, it helps him with the mortgage, i could never pay market rents or have a mortgage myself.
Something I picked up early on you said, was you could start moving in now, but you wont move until December, is that because you have a lease? I have broken our lease the last two houses I was in, it means the landlord could perhaps raise the rent and get someone in earlier so it will suit them if you move out earlier. One house was so run down it was hard to get new tenants so they moved in at a lower price and we paid the difference until our lease was up. Why dont you see if you can break it?
Sorry to see you're getting a lot of negative comments. This certainly isn't the first I've heard of an older person choosing to move into a caravan. It's a place for her to go and have personal space while having people close by to support her. Sorting out the whole contents of the house would probably be hugely overwhelming for her too so if you're doing that instead or helping her with it it'll be good for both of you.
People are also not very understanding or realistic about the reality of getting a "proper job" after a long period of self employment, especially if you have additional disabilities. Things will pick up again in September when lessons start back up.

Georgina, I somehow had a feeling a whike ago that you may have big change coming around moving Home!! Soo Proud of You, Simon & Liz for coming up with the Best Solution for you All and for being Super Pro-Active even though Moving house is a Major Impact Physically, Mentally & Emotionally (as your forced to face going through a whole life time of Memories, Life stuff. As soneone who has moved 13 times since I was 19urs old, I will be Celebrating my 1st Year in August of Finally having a place I can truly make my Home thsts Secure, Peaceful & I can create my own Beautiful & Creative Home for me.. I only just set up a New Bed Space in my Bedroom & new Bedding ( Bed was in the lounge for ages!) And I have been resting & sleeping soooo much better!
Still a lot of Projects, House stuff & Personal Development for me to get through but I am worth it! And Georgina You and your family are Worth having Beautiful, Peaceful & Joyful Life & Home!

I'm always late to see your vlogs. I'm sorry that you are having financial problems but just be thankful that you have free healthcare. My husband ( age 77) and I (age 75) live on a very limited income and our healthcare costs are $10,000.00 A year and that is with Medicare and a supplemental and prescription coverage. Now we both have had cancer and all of our surgeries, treatments were covered, but it's still a lot to pay. We do own our home and we put our three sons through college, so we are happy about that but being old in America isn't easy.
HealthCare in the UK is Not FREE British People have for 76yrs PAID for NHS Health Services through Our National Insurance that is Taken out of our Employment Taxes before we are Paid wages!! I am sorry to hear you and your husband are dealing with two Cancer Diagnosis, treatment and the impact of American Medical Costs and I hope that Life is Kind to you with as much support as you need! ❤

@whereloveblossoms - thank you for your kind words. I wasn't aware of how the NHS is funded. We also have money taken out of our pay for medicare, that can't be used until age 65 and still needs a private insurance supplemental to pay what Medicare doesn't pay. It doesn't cover prescriptions either.

Really odd move this. Pretty new to your channel as my parents watch you. They don’t know how to comment. I run my own gym but live with my parents purely on the basis I’m saving to buy a house I actually want within the next 5 years. I pay a full rent to my parents due to the money I’m earning. They’re mortgage free. I’m also paying my brothers rent because he can’t work due to disability but still he pays three quarters of the rent through the benefits he’s entitled to. He doesn’t just live with mum and dad as he wanted his own space at whatever cost for his own pride.
This just doesn’t fully make sense to me and nor does your finances if you’re so successful in business? I also don’t get what it is Simon actually does and wonder if it’s some scheme to avoid taxes. I’m not sure you’re actually seeing the logic behind this decision because it’s certainly not a sensible one. Youre just ostracising yourself further away from your family with no friends?

Why would an elderly woman want to move out of her home and into a caravan in her drive? This is a bit odd. Surely it makes sense to give up the shop since the rent is so expensive and it's not doing very well. Also, I know from experience Invisalign is very expensive.. your decisions continue to confound your viewers. I wish you the best but.. this is strange, and doesn't seem fair on Liz.

No doubt I’ve missed some but from what I’ve seen, the trolling accounts all have (-) dashes in, many are like: user-(dash) with random words and numbers. Def auto generated user names made by 1 or 2 online trolls. Nasty individual whoever they are.
Get rid of the damn shop in that awful area and pay rent towards your own home instead of wasting money doing a house up. I thought you were a businesswoman? Aside from the cruelty to shoving an old woman in a caravan.
1. The shop is doing fine selling antiques, it just no longer works for crystals. We don't own it, we just lease it, from a friend of the family so rent is cheaper than most other premises. I am reducing my products within it, and making it more antique focused. I will still work there a few days a week and manage it moving forward. 2. We are not wasting money on doing a house up. If Liz was to sell the house, the money she would get would not last all that long in rent, and she would end up just having to go into a council property. (nothing wrong with that by the way) And as it is the house is an investment and just needs doing up. So we are going to help her do that, so it makes sense for us to be there with her. There are also other reasons for our move, and I can't explain all that here, but things like, Liz is 72 now and may need help in the future, she does not have the funds to do the house up, the house has alot of things that need clearing out of it which we can do. We would save on rent by not paying for our current rental property and can help by using some of it to do up the house. There is plenty of room for all three of us and two dogs and a cat. Liz is not just being shoved in the caravan. It's so she can have her own space away from a house she has a lot of negative memories from. Can I ask do you have your own or rent?

Why are you paying for Invisalign if you can’t afford your basic rent? Also the amount of businesses or fingers in pies Simon seems to have and yet you both still can’t afford rent? Are you both incapable of handling money or just plain silly? Whether liz agreed to move or not you shouldn’t be allowing her to sleep in a caravan, or even if she comes back into the house it’s the most ridiculous arrangement when you’re persistent in not getting rid of the rubbish shop which is associated everywhere in your name? How are you going to move forward as a vocal coach when you’ve now highly publicised a failing business? You’re just ruining any legacy you had left.
I think maybe they are bad with money. People were saying at the time how expensive Invisalign is but she wasn't deterred. I'm assuming there's a payment plan..

You’ve already stated in a comment below that Liz will effectively be in the house during winter. So effectively the caravan will be a static waste of time. Are you genuinely all insane to think this will work or just a few sandwiches short of a picnic? Honestly: this is not living. Close that damn shop?
I’m not going into detail here but the shop works perfectly fine for antiques just not for me so we are not closing it. The caravan is not a waste of time. It’s a space for Liz to have for herself. There is a lot more to this than just what was said in my last vlog.

Unless there’s something you’re not telling us about the landlord selling your home. Either way this is the most silly thing you’ve ever done. Simon really is a waste of time! You both need to get proper jobs and not self employed. I can’t understand why you won’t sell off the antique shop when that’s not what you even wanted to begin with? Ridiculous, and we’re all clearly concerned you’ve stopped taking or lowered your tablets. You’re putting yourself at risk!
Your comment is a little harsh here, as this is something that has been in the works for a few years and we have thoroughly thought it through. The landlord is not selling the house we are in, but we are sure the rent will be increased soon. The three of us spend alot of time together and its come to a time where us being together is going to be better for us all. Why do you think it's silly? Simon is NOT a waste of time. How you can be so judgemental when you have never actually met him or know him I don't know. No we don't need to get proper jobs! So you are happy to work for someone else's dream? I have been in business for 21 years and have run several successful businesses, unfortunately the shop was not the best idea I had, I do know that. I was grieving at that time and probably rushed into it. Stopped taking tablets... there is more to it. I am not putting myself at risk, I am getting medication advice, on what is good for me and the direction I should be going. Being on any tablets for a very long time is NOT a good thing, so looking at other options is necessary. Do you own your own home?

I work for somebody else , adore my manager. Got my own florist business on the side… happy medium and happy life to me. If my managers business goes under, I won’t be out my home. @@LoonZoomBoo I have been watching this channel for over two years now, and I've never felt the need to comment on what I might consider bad decisions - it's her life, and she can do what she wants. But Liz is very clearly a kind and generous person, following Georgina around on various endeavours, even when Georgina has said how boring it is working at the shop, Liz has taken more shifts than Georgina has as of late. But who is sticking up for Liz? She has given her time and effort for Georgina and Simon, even though Georgina even complains about mistakes Liz has made to her online audience, and now she's given them her house. And even THEN Georgina complains about how much work they're going to have to put in to Liz's house. When you fall on bad times, you HAVE to go through it yourself, but Liz is enabling them - why rush to change when you're living in a warm, comfortable house? Georgina and Simon should be semi-living in the caravan, and spending free time in the house, not Liz! None of them have been a pensioner semi-living in a caravan in Yorkshire. The aches and pains that old age brings on top of the cold conditions? I won't stay silent on this one.

Deary me Georgina, you have certainly ruffled a few feathers haven't you? We really hope you rethink the Liz going in a caravan idea. If she got pneumonia this winter you would not forgive yourselves! It is time for you you and Simon to behave like the 50 something year old adults you are and get full time employment. You could manage a charity shop for example. You would be good at that. I would give up anything that is not bringing you a good margin. The crochet is fine as a side project but for gods sake don't buy any more wool. Don't let Simon buy anymore second hand stuff until you've sold through what you've got. Ditch the expensive Costa trips, silly amounts of Cheese, takeaways etc. You would save a £££ doing that. For god's sake get Simon to eat a bloody vegetable instead of cooking expensive meat in butter in a frying pan all the time. Save every penny and create a savings goal. What silly Lynne in the comments below doesn’t realise is. Despite watching Georgina for a while I myself have never commented before so had to click on the create comment channel button. I imagine many more have. Saw people posting about this vlog all over internet forums which is how I found out about it. Some of these comments are disgusting. How can you judge someone's life decision when you dont know the full context. It's not like Georgina has just decided to push Liz out of her home and make her live in a caravan. Im sure a lot of thought went into this decision. For all we know, Liz may have always wanted to live in a caravan but didn't want to give up her home. For all we know, this could be a fanataic decision between them since Liz is going to Georginas house quite a lot anyway.

georginavlog - this is my concern about what you are doing, when you state that " I am not entitled to anything ". You are correct. Since you and Simon are not married, you will not get anything if the house is ever sold unless Liz puts it in her will. And Simon has a sister. This doesn't seem fair to you as you are not protected if something happens to Liz or Simon. Also, what happens if you should become sick or hospitalized and need someone to confer with your doctors about your treatment, etc? Since you are not married, you must give your doctors written permission for Simon or whomever, to do this. Maybe you already have, if not please do it soon. You are the same age as my first son, so I guess that I am thinking like a mother. I know that you are probably thinking that no one would ever do anything to hurt you, but believe me, people can get very nasty when money or inheritance is involved. I hope you don't mind my comment but, there it is.
