- Melody Johnson won’t be going to prison, even after being convicted of attempted murder. She tried to poison her husband, airman Roby Johnson, by putting chlorine into his coffee for weeks. Johnson suspected something was wrong, planted cameras in their kitchen and had the water tested. During court proceedings he asked for leniency, including a requirement that she undergo a mental health evaluation. Breaking it down on "Dan Abrams Live": Jesse Weber of the Law & Crime Network, legal analyst Julie Rendelman and criminal defense attorney Donte Mills.

This is a prime example of sexism. There are terrible double standards in our corrupted justice system.
Did she and husb. re-unite and living together? Did she get anger management?
I agree that is attempted murder and is she harming the children as well. The kids should be removed from her presence
She's very dangerous and should not ever be allowed alone with her child.
Did she try to poison the child or ever break the law in regard to carrying for the children? I thought she poisoned the husband, these panel said nothing about mistreating children.
@@Eyeball_Heroin
So you think a person that tries to poison a person should be looking after children?
I don’t know, I think people can compartmentalize better than you think.
I agree I guess there are different laws for females in criminal cases. I had a woman try to poison my drink but it smelled funny so I did not drink it. It was at a Dunkin donuts and the person serving it did it. I never went back to that location
Oh my gosh no one show this to my wife.
lol
WTF?!?!? Is she going to bleach her kids next? Ridiculous
RISE UP MEN. BAND TOGETHER FOR MENS RIGHTS. MEN TOO MOVEMENT.
The victim was not thinking clearly due to cognitive dissonance. It’s a phenomenon how narcissistic people can manipulate their victim to empathize for them instead of safety of their own life. She’s dangerous! 😢
Ultimately, the verdict was: "Hey, if this lady wants to poison her husband, who are we to stand in her way? This is a free country!"
The victim shouldn't have influence on the punishment. Attempted murder/murder is a crime against society.
Stating the obvious
Narcissistic abuse is sad. He wanted her to be okm she wanted to kill him.
What about the future safety of ppl? The husband is clearly codependent.
Why is that woman on the panel in green annoyingly playing devil's advocate so much? It was so distasteful to watch. The evidence is clear as crystal and a lot of other attempted murderers faced harsh penalties so why should this one be different?
I wonder if the genders were reversed if the results would have been the same.
Of course not!!
Wow.... trying to blame the man? He was getting sick and he could smell the bleach.
I couldn’t live with someone that I suspected was trying to poison me!
Women really be having life on easy mode sometimes damn!! lol
Everything is on camera -- you don't need 'witnesses'. What an asinine statement.
No man will be with her again! Her actions are known to all!!
The word racist is overused
He wants the whole world to see what she did, then allows her to go unpunished.
Yes, you get it… A perp can nearly every time get off lightly when they claim mental issues, and have some proof of treatment or claims of mental illness. It’s as though someone could precede a crime with a few sessions or diagnosis; then commit the crime and get off easy.
That judge is a simp on every level. The real question is how could he not smell the bleach it is strong
I will Judge all Women by her Crimes....
It seems we don’t have the whole story here if the victim is trying to get her out of jail. 🤔 I hope we will learn all the facts one day 😊
She be under thejail
She got probation. Didn't you listen?
If you're okay with probation for attempted murder that means you're qualified to be a Democrat voter.
No, that makes you a Trump voter, a person with no moral, just full of hate for fellow Americans who are different.
Maybe ingesting bleach is not considered attempted murder
You can be a Test Subject
She probably poisoned him, because his nose whistles, and he’s a heavy breather, that sounds so freaking gross!
Are you 12?
@@DonnellOkafor-pd7yn how did you come up with the age 12 ? It’s really gross to listen to nose whistling and mouth breathers. I don’t like booger jokes either, I want to hurl. It’s my preference, I was kidding about killing someone over it. Some times I put out absurd comments, hopefully to make someone laugh. Have a nice day, I really would like to know how you came up with 12 as an age I must be, I think it’s a female pet peeve, I don’t say anything I just move away from it.
Did he have covid?😂
A man did the same thing to his wife and only got 60 days.
Oh my God did she get this idea from Trump?
I did two years in prison for a gram of concentrated THC hash
