I bought HP Laserjet P1007 like 10 years back. Still working good for home use. Con: Original Toner lasted for 2 years only. I am now using compatible low cost toners.
For home usage Ink tank printers are the best. I've been using Epson l4160 from 2018, printed few thousand color pages, Ink is still at 30%. More than satisfied.
There are 2 toner powder packs for this 1. 2500pages - 900rs 2. 5000pages - 1500rs After 50000 pages, you need to change the toner drum which costs around 5 to 6k - you can't change it by yourself only an engineer can do it
Toner cost is mentioned as 2.5K for 5K pages. That comes to 50 paise per page. Then cost of page. Cost of electricity. Dont know how HP say 29 paise per page. 😊

Hp printers are good but if they get any kind of damage or paper stuck error, then the parts and servicing charges are sky high, keep this thing in mind while purchasing, or go for other Best brands like Brother

They will say buy a new one & dump the current one. Yes you do not own those devices even if you paid them a lot for machine & refillables. They own you with your money.
if you want to get a robust and low cost printing laser printer then go for HP printers which supports 88a catridge. You get tons of local market toners which will give you superbb quality printing at a ver very low cost. using such a printer for my school work. its damn good.
I remember being made to run from pillar to post for a HP wireless mouse that needed to be repaired and I never touched a HP product after that experience.
I purchased last year hp smart tank 530 and printed almost 24000 pages, running cost is very low as we only bought two bottles of black ink at 1000rs only

I am not able to make front ant back and there is a issue paper censor and paper is also stuck while scanning and HP company service is also not good, no body is responding. If you give complaint no body is responding and concerned persons not picking my calls.Totally hp service is not good

Printing on glossy paper is risky be careful while choosing ink Eg: GT53xl black in hp smudges easily Dye vs pigment based inks and printers go through this video before you buy Always take a glossy photo paper 200gsm to test the quality rub on it after 5 minutes and check if it smudges
Worst printer . Repairing of it going to be very very expensive and most probably it'll give you problem before 1.5 year and toner cartridge of it is very expensive too People should buy printer which use 88a cartridge

Bcuz these 88a toner are not profitable bcuz people refill them from shops for arround 200-300rs instead of buying new every time it gets empty. If anyone thinks about buying new one they pick compatible one bcuz compatible one is hell cheaper than original one and both works same and gives same quality. And all the current 88a printer which are sold in market are very soon going to be discontinue . You'll see that start to happen next year for sure.
No info about brother after sales, but yes hp is too bad. Personal experience. With laser toner & ink models. Brother or epson for my current choice & suggestion. But, always check & confirm in written/printed documents about after sales costs like ink pad, roller, service charges etc. & After how long it could/should need such. Specially waste ink pad. For each models choosen.

It will still be costlier to refill compared to traditional toner, as any cyber cafe or printer repair shop can refill the toner for 300-500rs

It can only print duplex from computers or from the app. You cannot scan front and back and print duplex with this printer.
