Grew up listening her songs like Midnight blue and Don't cry out loud and now watching her here. Wow, she's absolutely an amazing Singer and has that distinct voice.
Thank you...we adore Melissa and love to have recordings still in good viewing condition. This show is such a great showcase not only of her music, but of her personality as a performer...Melissa at her most magical.
The 70's was the most secure time of my life. So strange I visualize all of these songs on my dentist's secretaries radio as I sat in the waiting room.
M. Thanks for sharing this extraordinary concert. The voice, the energy, the eyes just wow! Your Dad performing in the orchestra-what a night that must have been. ❤️
Amazing performance and concert. Thank you so much for posting this, a true gem. Her rendition of "Easy" is just astounding, one of the best performances I've ever seen, emotional, heartfelt. A well deserved standing ovation from many in the audience for this one! ❤

Love the instrumental reprise of Midnight Blue used a bridge between moments and at the close of the show. I remember when this was 1st aired when the network could not be touched.
@@vbplayer50 To me it does,...I like to have an idea of what I was doing when this occurred. I lived in NYC from 1960-2000 so I'd like to know if it happened there.
Sorry I hit send before I was finished.. the theatre was called “Universal Amphitheater’ in 1978-‘79 it is now called ‘The Gibson Theatre’ and is located in Universal City in Southern California . I spent time with Melissa, after the concert that night. Her mother, Ruth Manchester, took me to Melissa’s backstage VIP reception area. She sought me out, as I was her guest which was orchestrated by a Freind and client of mine, Edith. Edith is Melissa’s Godmother. We had a great conversation, I will always remember this as one of my favorite experiences. I am currently managing a wonderful singer from Vienna Austria. I will be releasing his first two singles from his upcoming album, “ Young and Free” in about 4-6 weeks. His name is “Piet Arion” I am hoping to connect with Melissa soon as I believe she will appreciate his unique and very special vocal prowess. I am going to ask her to concider writing a song for him as I think she has a special gift for song writing and just might entertain the idea. Especially since his range covers from F2 to F7 and beyond Via his masterful Whistle Register. Sorry, I got a bit carried away by the very idea. Thanks for indulging me
@@danafreddy Wow,...sounds like you've led, and still lead a wonderful and enriching life...Good luck to you and Piet Arion!...thanks for the info!...I love any kind of history. Which is why I love Vienna too!...The Golden Music Hall is magnificent.

LA MUSICA DE SRA MELISSA MANCHESTER ES FABULOSA....MARAVILLOSA Y EXTRAORDINARIA...BRAVO
Flawless... wow..
an angel in purple
I love this woman
I just heard of her. I was working way up North (the arctic) during her concert days.
She is still touring and, if anything, she sounds better now!
❤❤👍👍👍
¿Si bien, la introducción, al piano, es bastante arreglada o en otros arreglos, el compás: suena original?
I don't think she sang the Ice Castles theme here.
That was not out yet.
Anyone know the date and location?
Does it matter?
