Well, the colors on this are fabulous. I’m going to do this, and I know it takes a long time but when you cover the lines up with the bop pen, it just puts the cherry on the cake.❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Shelly! It's me, can you believe I'm actually leaving you a comment, I got up early so I could watch and comment lol. Shelly, I hope you know even though I don't always write a comment, I enjoy your videos and listening to you explain your process, so very much, and it's very relaxing and inspiring. As always, this is absolutely stunning, magnificent work! Thank you so much for sharing! 💗🤗
I am also new to Ohuhu alcohol markers and this lesson is amazing. You have shown me how to layer with markers and add pencil to the piece. Your instruction is so helpful. Your page is beautiful. Thank you for this lesson.
Hi Shelly discover you yesterday, you fantastic and subscribe to your channel. Just a pitty we don't have not all the colouring books and pens available in New zealand. I am only use Johanna basford books, but Rita Bierman books look very interesting. I am finish working end of March 2024 and hope to do more colouring (69) years😊 but still healthy and active. GREETINGS😊
Hello! I am so happy you found me and welcome to the channel!! Sorry to hear it is difficult to get access to books and supplies in New Zealand. I hope you manage to get what you like at some point. All the best for retirement and I hope it turns out to be an enjoyable, happy and healthy one!! 🤩💗
I think it depends on how I apply the Neo IIs. If I apply direct to paper and then dissolve it, I can manage fewer layers of pencils - it can be a struggle.. but if I apply with a brush off crayon or palette, then I don’t have a problem usually. 🤗
Hi Shelly, I love your channel and your videos. I always watch your videos with great pleasure. What a beautiful page did you made! I have a question about the tooli- arts markers. Do you use the markers with the tip of 0.7 mm or the markers with the 3 mm tip? Thank you very much!
Hi Nathalie, I am so glad you are enjoying my channel, means a lot! Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos 🤗 I use the 0.7mm (XF) Tooli-art paint pens. 💗
I tend to use a combo…direct and off a palette with a brush. I never take it off the nib though….I only do that with pencils and crayons. Hope this helps 🤗💗
Shelly, beautiful colouring!!! Always inspiring. Thanks for sharing and encouraging me to colour. ❤
Thank you so much!! Glad I have inspired you!! 🤗💗

Do you find the Neocolors weird to color over since they are so waxy, or does that dissipate once they are dissolved?
I think it depends on how I apply the Neo IIs. If I apply direct to paper and then dissolve it, I can manage fewer layers of pencils - it can be a struggle.. but if I apply with a brush off crayon or palette, then I don’t have a problem usually. 🤗

When you do use your waterbased markers do you use straight marker or do you use a water brush off the nib, as you us it for basing?
I tend to use a combo…direct and off a palette with a brush. I never take it off the nib though….I only do that with pencils and crayons. Hope this helps 🤗💗
