  • Truth be told, this fly doesn’t really have a name. It’s one of those flies that was tied on a whim a decade or two ago from carpet from my old house. New materials have made this an easy fly to tie, and it fishes great on summer evenings on Michigan streams, especially toward the tail-end of the Isonychia. This color is for the dun, but I’ve done well tying this fly in wine and brown colors as well.
