    As always, the attention to detail and depth with your reasoning and explanations for everything to do with this build is top notch, Love it.

    Good video mate, i know what you mean about the info on catch cans it’s so confusing! Some say definitely do it others say dont 😑. Thanks

      Yeah it's hard to find out the truth, I'll run with it and see how it goes.

    Great video!
    I'd rank the dash cam high as it's for one of those low probability/high consequence events.
    I have the RedTiger 11" rear mirror dash cam.
    Got it off Amazon for $199 and it has 4K front and 2.5K rear cameras.
    I had the previous version (1440/1080) and that's migrated to my wife's car now that the new one is in the Triton.
    The rear camera is mounted to the top of the back wall of the canopy.
    So that gives me rear vision + dash cam recording front and rear.
    I feel naked driving without a dash cam now.
    So it's an essential.
    For me ;-)

      I like the reverse one for every day driving, but I do need to upgrade it soon as I can see it failing permanently one day.
      I don't regret the forward facing dash, it's just uninteresting and something has to be last 😛

      @@TheBrowneTown My wife had one of those Viofo forward mounted dash cams.
      Unfortunately the only time we needed it was recently and it had become disconnected.
      The screen is small and goes blank shortly after startup so she didn't know it wasn't working and we didn't get the evidence we need.
      D'oh!
      I like the mirror-type dash cams as you can see immediately if they are working or not.
      -Just my two cents.
      My lowest rank item would be an Ultragauge Bluetooth OBD.
      What a supreme piece of crap.
      Eh, you live and learn...

      @garysheppard4028 what happened with the Bluetooth OBD ?

    • @garysheppard4028
      @garysheppard4028 4 месяца назад

      @@TheBrowneTown Although the bluetooth connects, the software of the device recognises hardly any systems within the Triton.
      It's pretty useless.
      I think it would be fine for an American truck but for something outside that market it is hopeless.

      Cheers, haven't tried Bluetooth OBDs.

    Another great Video mate, What insulation did you use in the canopy and has it made a difference?

    • @TheBrowneTown
      @TheBrowneTown  3 месяца назад

      It's a sticky back 10mm thick one from Clark Rubber. Not sure if it made a difference because I did it straight away when I bought the canopy.
      So I have nothing to compare it to 🤷‍♂️

    Love having found your vids. Im starting to mod my px ranger. Have you ever weighed the car with all your gear, you did say around 2.7T? Whats your front axle weight like?

    • @TheBrowneTown
      @TheBrowneTown  Месяц назад

      Yeah it's 2.71 ton but I haven't weighed the axles separately since before I started modifying it.
      Original front was 1340, rear 1020.

    Need a update on how you ended up installing that headunit. I have an Xtr as well and options are limited
