Try these fixes if your windows 10 settings is not opening or working properly.
►CMD Command
sfc /scannow
►Powershell Command 1

After this I got no display on my computer and im being real right now, dont Listen to thiss guy
I copied and pasted the second powershell command and after it finished scanning it said "12 activities not shown" does that mean there's a problem with my computer?
sir in my regedit there is an other folder along with explorer in policies it windows update
in windows update the DWORD with name disable windows update acess and its value is set to
0. but my windows update setting is not opening
Thank you so much, i was messing with my files trying to delete everything that was taking space without paying attention and then realized that i couldn't use the windows settings. Solution 1 and 2 didnt work but solution 3 solved the problem. Now i learned from my mistakes and i'll be cautious next time

Nothing works on mine not quick setting the setting app command props nothing but the search bar
Powershell is crushing every time as well... error code 0x800f081f from cmd.
I tried the regedit solution and the folder "Policies" has no other folder inside in my computer.

bro, after I used this method, the default application on my windows uninstalled suddenly, why???
Nothing that needs to be open with "ms-settings" works on mine and shows a pop-up error _This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action_ and none of the options in the video worked and no more Windows updates availables, so installed is up to date! If somebody got to fix this same issue, please, let me know how. Thanks.

I go into POLICIES but there is no EXPLORER sub folder. ? i did all your steps exactly and they worked up to that point so if I have no EXPLORER folder under policies... I tried to make that folder but clicking NEW didn't offer me an option to create a sub folder called EXPLORER. What now?

when i try :
net localgroup administrators User2 /add
It say :
System error 1376 has occurred.
The specified local group does not exist.
Why?
Cuz you typed it wrong
when i go to policies. there is no drop arrow for explorer
My settings work fine, EXCEPT sign-in options even after copying all of this I want/ need to take my pin off I have the sign in issue when first booting my pc it’s really annoying me now.

@@kogarashi5285 I managed to fix my problem but I don't remember how. That's why I hate leaving windows update free to just alter my PC UNKNOWNST to me in the background. I absolutely hate all these background processes you can't know are running. All these "services" listings. Yeah, that's REALLY helpful. If not for the internet, it'd be impossible to get your PC working. The gumment got all these companies bent over putting every way they can to capture data about you and your online business and where your phone is at all times. Sad. Good luck fixing your issue. I literally cannot remember what got mine working ag ain. If you ever do, make a system restore point for sure so you can get back to that if something new goes wrong.
Same here. Apparently, it's not a "New Folder", but a "New Key".
@@timesnewlogan2032 11 months ago, I have no idea what I did and as far as I know, my PC is working so.... I'm just waiting for the day when something blows up. HD crashes.... who knows? I've got too much on my HDs and I can only do a few backups cuz 4 TB HD fills up. OH WELL.
