Does anyone know how exactly she makes the foam liquid? I understand that she uses Polyurethane foam, but you need to react it with something else and also get it into liquid form. Can someone please help?
Did you not see the video? She clearly says it's a two part liquid, in the same way you mix resin in order for it to set. Polyurethane foam reacts by expanding when you mix its components together.
Very interesting creations. She's like me a bit. I love to work at night and I always have something on (TV/Music) in the background just for noise. Not really paying attention to it most of the time. :) - Heidi
The more I look at her work, the more fascinated I am by it, Heidi. And I'm the same, love having music on in the background ... unless I am writing ... then I need it dead quiet ;)
The important thing is it resonates with her and is what she likes creating. I found many things I like creating but my favorite is making faces so far. Maybe someday there will be a tie. :) I hear you - writing or reading - and quiet is best. I even need sound most of the time when I sleep. Usually cable. I will check ahead to make sure paid programming isn't coming on anytime soon before I fall asleep. The emergency alert tests though often wake me up in the wee hours of the morning.
I found a marathon of How It's Made on the science channel last night. :) Best show to sleep to. The narrator has the best voice. :) Plus the content is awesome.
Really Loving your creativity and the fact that you are truly being yourself ....Love when you said about your work ..."is it yours?, because if it is you can really own it". Amen to that!! So much plagerism on RUclips which to me is very sad. People will never ever own their work when the ideas are never their own in the first place. People going on line after doing something for a few times after seeing it on RUclips then teaching others to do it, as if it is their own idea! They never say who they learnt it from, Sick really.
