Hercules Table Saw vs DeWalt (Upstart vs the Champ) - Almost 1 year ago we got our first glimpse of the mythical Hercules job site table saw. And now it's here for real. Lets put it to the test against the king of the hill, the DeWALT DWE7480. The DeWALT is often jokingly referred to as the "DeFAULT" on job sites because when it launched it had more power, more cut capacity and with that gear and pinion dead on repeatability of cuts. The Hercules comes in with a smoother motor, a much better blade and it has a bunch of the bells and whistles missing on the DW, not to mention a bigger working surface. It's time to put these two to the test and see if the newcomer has what it takes to hang with the big boys.
