Wow that’s an incredible treasure throve of nostalgia,Great video!
I cursed at you for not showing all the cars at the bottom floor, but overall fantastic video man, loved every second of it! Now I just feel compelled to visit this place.
Sorry! It was a little too dark down there to film that day, but perhaps you'd like to see a feature on what's down there, as we have a lot of photos! ^Dave
@@CompletecarIe It' all good man as I said splendid video!
Wikipedia about Opel: ruclips.net/video/vOtLNC_ABbM/видео.html
Opel - best!👍
Thanks for watching, we hope that you enjoyed it.
thx so much, i enjoyed the full 37 mins. And as someone wrote earlier, i wished some more footage of the Omega V8.
Thanks for watching it all. We hope to do more of this kind of thing in future.
Maibe showing the all generation of Corsa is a good idea. One of the best sellers. Thank you
Opel does have an example of every generation of Corsa, but we could only show so much in one video.
I've been searching for years for the OPEL diesel concept car from the 1970s, me I love mantas, kadetts and monzas
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thx Dave for giving us an insight look to the treasure chest of opel, where ordinary people including myself will never get to!
Best part form my point of view is a already shown at the beginning.
=> The last rear wheel drive upper class sedans: Opel Senator B 3.0i 24v and Omega B V8.
The V8 was fully developed but never lunched to the market......(unforunatly)...Gosh, how i would love to drive this car.
It´s such underated icone and in my eyes on the same historical level as the Diplomat V8. But nobody cares about it
Rear wheel drive luxury sedans developed and constructed by engineers at Ruesselsheims will never ever come back.
We have to maintain those cultural gods to the future.
It was my pleasure, glad that you enjoyed it! Would you like to see more of this type of content in the future? ^DH
@@CompletecarIe I love vehicle exhibitions especially of the OEMs but also privat owned exibitions i love to hear the stories behind those cars. Others mght say "ohh thats boring to see dusty cars standing in a hall."
I have never seen the CD concept, abs classs!
:-)
As a massive fan of design study concept cars, It would be nice to see more content on it. Thanks
Noted! We'd love to have spent more time there as there are so many interesting cars.
How did you get there? I would love to walk around there! Love this video, thanks for making it!
We were invited by Opel. Glad you liked it
Yus thotoughly enjoyed...
Thank you
I am hoping to see the Corsa from the A series
Opel also has older versions of the Corsa GSI
the opel
kadett gsi is one of the most important opels here. because that car is opel
put on the map. especially as opposed to Volkswagen Golf.
It's a very popular car with fans
Is this a private collection or is the Opel collection? It is Wonderfull
This is Opel’s heritage collection, currently stored at the factory in Russelsheim, Germany.
you sound like your from Ireland, like me!!
Correct!
Is the infamous diesel from the 1970's in the collection? I've been searching for it for years...
Ascona, Mantas and Kadetts rule as does the GT
It must be in there.
So Edd Byrne's a petrolhead? 😂😂👌. Brilliant vid thankyou
LOL! Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Did you have any favourites? ^Dave
@@CompletecarIe The older cars, rally cars and those lotus Carlton's👌
A series ( At 21 mins )
Do you have a favourite?
Are there more cars or is this is it? I haven't seen for instance a Vectra-A, Omega-A
Oh yes, there are anymore cars but we didn't have the time to film them all on this occasion. We will return and cover everything!! ^Dave
Some years ago i drove a Tigra for some time... Is cute but i wont buy it. But Opel is my brand and the cladsics are magnificent. Sorry my bad english
The original Tigra is a cool design.
Me I'm a 1970/1980 opel fan, tho I'm not against Hydrogen fuelled cars, better than electric....
Harder to package hydrogen into a regular sized car.
