@@ndrew3 Yeah I hear you in some aspects but it's also a phase that some people go through - obsessed with their own looks. This doesn't say "but you're ugly" but it touches my heart for some reason.
This is when you know how good a singer really is. When you strip away all the studio production equipment and their voices still sound like spun gold. What an amazing band.
I love this song & saw them in Milwaukee last year. The Rave is such a dive & always smells like old beer & weed but, good times. Lol This video reminds me of that episode of Portlandia where Peter (Fred Armison) runs off with his ex wife & joins “Bahama Nights” & they perform duets together. Lol :)
pjplummer yup! Lol it’s still there and will probably stay for a while! It’s such a dive but there have been so many great bands/musicians that have played & presently perform there. Why is this?, I have no idea lol. The first time I ever went there (over a decade ago & I was underage) was to see Chris Robinson (from “The Black Crowes” but he was in a newer group called “New Earth Mud”). It was still the same vibe- it stunk like a huge fog of weed & incense mixed with old beer / yeast and it was super chill. Haha :-)
I don't know how i missed seeing this live stripped set until today but i ❤ it. I just ordered the vinyl from the band's website (i have "Passive Me, Aggressive You" on vinyl too)! Can't wait for it to arrive!
