The entire song is made on computers except for a few guitar bits and vocals, not as hard to sound like the Original when you rely so heavily on synths and drum machines. A good example of a band that doesn't rely on synths or drum machines, has complicated music, and sounds very close to the recordings is the legendary band Tool. MJK's live voice is majestic and Danny Carey is an octopus on the drums.
I am 38 years old. My blood is as young as anyone's! It is not only a brilliant song, they can perform it live. They then upload it to RUclips the very next day. I love it.
Tom Livanos I'm right there with you, Tom. I'm 39 and love this group. I love the fact that I can still find good music being made today by young people with heart and drive. So far everything I've heard of theirs is just fantastic.
HA! Right on, Tom. I'm 43, and I think it's a great song. Talented group of youngsters. The only thing I'd like to see, being a bit old fashioned, is somebody up there slappin' da bass-AH! :) A drummer would be great, too.
Of course it is a fantastic feeling to stand there in front, and here Your music. Greetings from Germany. I am now over 55 and still like new good music.
I’ve listened to this version so much that when the album version comes on in my car I’m waiting for the cheer at the start.. I’m literally in love with this song. It captures so much feeling and nostalgia for me
I'm in love with Alisa too this song Is timeless this punching in a dream and lately higher has me nailed and I'm I'm a Rick and metal guitarist but this is something else.
I'm from New Zealand and I've heard these guys live a number of times and her voice is not enhanced or autotuned, just some reverb. They are great live.
When this came out I was 15 or 16 years old and that summer I spent with friends and finding young love and this song feels like it was in the background for all of it , I miss those times and this song helps me remember them every time I hear it ❤
I know but the difference between a studio (like in the video) and a stage with a huge audience is pretty big. Edits or not. Generally a LIVE studio performance will sound better than stage. Of course some people like the stage sound better and some bands sound better on stage than in studio.
Holy shit... Man ive never heard them live i never realized she SOUNDED that good. When i use to watch league streams someone had this band playing and thats how i discovered them and i have loved them ever since.
11 years later, still a crazy good live performance.
i mean, beside their divorce. LOL!
@@christopher-miles are you ok? who cares? this is about the song lmao
@@christopher-milesYeah that’s when it got bad.
God, this takes me back. Very beautiful, kinda melancholic. I would have done so many things differently if I could.
The Laos girl is such a good singer. Laos Pride 🙏 🇱🇦🇱🇦🙏
Undeniably one of the best songs anyone from NZ has ever produced
Her body language is off the charts !

Really rare when you sound exactly like studio recording. I am so impressed like omg not many people are like that

@@matthewd6306 Im pretty sure he's talking about Alisa's voice live, not the instrumental.
@@matthewd6306 This isn't Tool ya tool
I love Naked and Famous, so don't get me wrong, but it looked like she was using playback.
There used to be a band called Pink Floyd, must be in the past century. Maybe you should give them a try.
I bet they get sick of singing this song but we never get tired of hearing it :-)
Wow, its hard for anyone to not relate to this song. The lyrics are so stimulating they bring back innocent memories from better times.
Soooooo dead on!
Hot summer days in 2024, anyone?
😎
I swear I heard this song on 102.1 edge about an hour ago. Now in my RUclips feed, coincidence? Great song, didn't realize how old it is.

dope as fuck never thought it would sound like the studio version ^^
You do realize they are in a studio, right?
Cmon, studio version has edits in it. This is full live, you know damn well what he's talking about.

Canada is hands down one of the best countries for music. Im from NY.
Naked and famous is from New Zealand, not Canada.
@@dogfat.he’s talking about the radio station or that it’s from Canada probably.
