First off, Nice Builds Fella, Hey, so far I'm enjoying your video's because you, like myself, like building those Hot Rods. The video quality will come, but Keep Knocking the video's out. Thank You for Sharing and Look Forward to your Next Video's
Looking down would be better I think. The focus depth might be 6 inches or so whereas from the side it's12 or more. You can easily remember to keep inside the square on the mat, too. Many cameras like to focus on movement, what's closest or has the most contrast. They don't like getting too close to the lens or solid colors (think background.) Do some test videos and you'll see what your camera does. Great start!!
Awesome button up.. I have the same one..👍it's like a show and tell build video. I don't have anyone that I build with so I watch a lot of RUclips not every creator dose them but I love to learn new tips and tricks..I'm a truck drivers son, also a truck driver 😃👍
Most of my "Build and Bull" videos will be just talking, I won't always have finished models to show to compliment the discussion subject. Look for the next B&B video where I talk about the life of a trucker's son some time next month.
Well I can't really say anything on making a video. I just make mine and post them, no editing, no do overs, usually no phone holder just having fun. But I really enjoy your videos, very natural and informative, this bull thing is great. That's a really cool build your working on and some AWESOME builds you showed to. Especially that AMT flamed 32😮😮😮😮😮😮my all time favorite kit. I think it's more of a traditional hot rod or old school hot rod maybe???? Rat Rods get a little more crazy don't you think. We could discuss this for hours lol bottom line there all COOL 😎 😮
Great looking builds I like the idea build and bull cool phrase, I appreciate you making videos, I have thought about starting a channel but I know it takes a lot of time and technical skills with technology. Ill be 65 this year and I have a like hate relationship with technology lol. I thought the video was good like the one commenter said the quality will come. I Learned a long time ago you cant please everyone so you might as well please yourself.
I think you are doing great. You will learn as you go on. No one was perfect, or great, when first starting out with a new projects. I am always learning. My modeling is in diecast 1/18th scale. Hard to change the body look. Latest project has me removing door handles, mirror holes, rear door handle, & the emblems front & rear. This is a sedan delivery, '55 Chevy style. I am putting murials on the sides. How ? Corel Draw for the layout. Then off to my Circut machine, sent to a printer, finally cut out on the Circut. Hurdles galore ! I now have it worked out & I think it looks rather nice. It has only taken 2 months to get there.
Sounds like you should start a channel, I'm not aware of any 1/18 diecast modelers out there. Back about 15 years ago I was into diecast modifying and did a few 1/18.
I thought about it. Just wonder who else would find it interesting. Adding Corel Draw & the Cricut machine is probably not for everyone. That takes care & practice. I get bored if I do not go other things, like my full scale Sebring Convertible. I am replacing rusted body parts on it. Lots of time spent there.
@@donaldbrightwell5221 I'm sure there are people that would find that interesting, those skills would be useful for any scale or type of modeling, in fact I have considered getting a Cricut myself.
i would be very interested in listening to you being the son of a truck driver. i just retired as a truck driver. i did it for 50 years. one of my next builds will be a truck.
Hey I think you're going a good job! Plus your building what you like and that's really all that matters, but I do like my hot rods, I'm sure if you contact Frank steffins of Frank's model works he would gladly give you some advice on doing your videos, I don't know him personally but he seems like a great guy that would gladly help out. Keep up the good work!
Thanks. I think for this type of video an overhead view will be best, my hands were in the way too much, and if needed show close up photos at the end of the video.

Thanks, I'll keep working at it trying different things that will hopefully be better.
Nice job with the video you'll get better as you go.
I hope so, the least I could do is find an angle they keeps my hands out of the way. 😄

This RUclips channel thing is an adventure for sure. I'm glad you like this format, I might do something like this about once/month.

I can never seem please myself, but I at least try to enjoy myself. 😁

Nice chat sir. And the older builds are super cool!
Thanks!
Im a fan of what your doing mixing nice topic discussion with building is something ive wanted to see for a while now, please keep it up 😎🤝🔥
Thanks, I'll keep at it.
Love this format, great video, just need overhead camera.
Thanks!
Hello David. If You Could. Show Your Projects Overhead view. Thanks. Keep On Modeling!
I think that is the way to go for the videos that involve building, no one needs all those close ups of my hands. 😆
Great video and great builds
Thanks!
