The strength of suspension glitch depends on the angle and not the stiffness. So you need to max the seat, which lets you adjust the angle and speed. Set the angle of the suspension glitch bearings to 90 degrees once you max the seat.
Or you can just attach a compact computer in angle sensor mode
but steering angles can also be done with a compact computer without needing to upgrade the seat!

@@jeetaghara_official haven't experimented much with these new compcoms yet. But I'll give that a try. Suggested the seat angle method since I have been using that even in the original survival mode.
@@adityak600set it to steering converter with your upgrade key, then set the angle by interacting with it and typing it in, then connect to bearings and seat. It might need a connected switch to to turn it on.
bill trades 10 Carrot Seed + 10 Tomato Seed for 10 Fetilizer. That's the only other seed spending I've seen. You can craft embers.
If you have a spare compact computer try placing it down and using it- it has wasd tank steering conversion and a couple of other interesting things

Move your suspension glitch more central to the build, even if your steering angle isn't strong enough it will still work better than a snail pace.
You will need a very large amount of honey when you build the antenna that is your current quest. So grab it every time you see it.
In vanilla SM, honey is also used for wheels. And for vacuum pumps and water chests. And maybe all the vacuum tubes.
You can do the drills with a max speed controller and you should put the drills on bearings angled down to get the stuff off the floor
Drills one block up from the ground work fine too.

Thats how I usually do mine and the multiple stacked bearings lets the drills deflect a bit on impact.
Something really satisfying about watching refinery work in the guts of the mining vehicle, really cool design
One of my favourite vanilla builds was like concept like the sand crawler from Star Wars that had space underneath to make a field, full watering system, and, on top of this, a defence system that'd crush bots with the flick of a switch.
Place the seeds along the outside of your farm's wall. The crops can build their own defence!
Kan....honeycomb is used for tires in vanilla too...

steering glitch is angle based. you get the peak power at around 26´ . all over 30´ can make it glitch stuck because scrap mechanic XD.
i tested it on the dyno to see where it had most power.

Embers are craftable. You can make them with wood and coal.
Side note, you can craft the embers back into coal for a net gain.

But tbf you might have seen it off camera already. Now excuse me, but my proud-ness for this weather effect is compelling me to tell you to look directly up next time there's a lightning storm, I think you will like how it looks.

Not all of that statement is true but may have a bonus achievement hidden within. :)
It is not a hidden achievement, so that is not a spoiler. I've had problems getting that achievement, even though my vehicle is often going around 100. I think you have to hold 88 for a bit, which is very hard since the ground is bumpy.
6:44 The honeycomb in vanilla survival was for the tires it just wasn't an individual section so it was for the whole tire
Dont forget to put a bed on the refining vehicle. And you could put some ladders inside the farm to get out easier. :)

Put 2 pistons on the back corners of the tank facing down/diagonal backwards to push up/forward when mining the hill nodes.
For rock nodes stuck underground, i just make a platform with seat on a lift, get on the seat, go below the ground, get out of seat, stand on the platform, mine the rock node. No explosives needed.
You should craft another compact computer, place it down and see what it can do. It's apparently a component for logic and some stuff, so there might be some nice functions in it for you.

I think the lightning storm had particles that were leading you somewhere Kan, I don't know if you noticed the particles, but they look like wisps, an example is at 28:28, look at next to the Woc's

@@projectdeveloper9311 Yeah, I think they're just to depict wind, but that provides an interesting possibility in its own right. It's worth investigating whether or not they all move in the same direction, (which they probably do,) both in a single event and across multiple separate storms.
(Ideally, they'd all move the same direction in a single storm, but that direction would be different between storms, or at different times.)
If there's a concept of wind flow, there might be wind-powered parts in the future.
Maybe there are sails or turbines in the works?
Hey Kan, if you can make medium wheels as well as small wheels, then you should put 2 medium wheels in the middle of your tank setup, and small wheels at the front of your tank setup, this way your whole vehicle will point down more at the front, and this way the drills should have constant contact with what's in front of you, also your vehicle shouldn't bounce up as much when your drills contact the nodes 🙂
It may be worth designing some kind of small flyer that can house a collector. you could pack it up into your inventory and then re-assemble it in the mine for use in mining and collecting nodes that the tank can't reach. Then you just switch out the collector when it is full for one of the collectors on the tank and keep going. Not sure how viable that is, but its an idea...
Best rock harvester is a drill on a rotating swivel bas that you place next to the mining node and sit back and relax 😂. Needs some optimization with flexible joints etc.
The enhanced drill is pretty good too

If you wind up putting a controller arm to tip, maybe make your rear axle on a piston. Might spread the lag generator out more plus could look cool to tip the vehicle.
You can use your handsaw on the ember
to get the big rocks underground just do the lift clip with a big platform that has a seat on it and when you get out of the seat you will be underground on the platform and you can hand drill it out.

also if you take fertilizer instead of leaving it and make fertilizer then you can use it on the crops and they will grow faster and that means less necessary raids
You should put steering hinges on the drill to angle it down for the clearance issues on the ground? Maybe set em to lock at a specific angle or not go farther than if thats possible
Commentary on the mkII drill vehicle:
1. Do the Crashlander large drills have low friction like the vanilla ones? You could abandon the front axle and that hopefully means the minimum amount of scrubbing (assuming your suspension glitch is pmuch right b/w the wheels)
2. Speaking of scrub, I know the wheelbase length matters, but I don't think a narrower track width matters as much (hey, it might even make it worse if you believe anything about the aspect ratio of the vehicle affecting scrub)
with 2 you're right narrower would be worse having it a square would be best
Honeycomb was used mostly for tires.
You should have the gas engine powering the wheels and the electric engine for the drills. The gas engine has an embedded differential mechanism, it could help with the turning.
I'm a little late on this, but I thought I saw while you were scrolling through the crafting materials that the carpet block has no fall damage, like the bed. You could place that all over under your ladder to the garden and not worry about where you fall, if it's true.

Wish they make like a bee enemy, like an entire biome of wax on the massive trees, maybe some bears attacking the honey combs and eating the honey and the bees attaking them in defense, like the mine and the cave for ore, the forest for wood, burned one for embers, etc...
I'm gonna be honest, that mining -tank- truck is kinda terrifying!
You can cover your walls with the excess seeds so that the raid animals will destroy the seeds for you
I think there is wind as well as a part of atmosphere, like u see those white trails in the atmosphere
Put the rear pair of wheels on their own axle, and use a piston to push them up 3-4 blocks, BAM easy hill miner.
toss a couple more collectors on for greater capacity then head over to the Quarry and go HAM!
The forest berries, and milk are the only guilt free food/drink in this mod. Everything else I try and save for trades and etc

Honestly a bee box that produces wax based on like, how many crops are around it would be amazing for mid to late game.

You should make a note of the fetch quests, make all the things and hand them in, one after the other.
Maybe make a flat bed behind the cab so you don't fall through the refinery, maybe put a bed in there and like more chests.
you cant place your lift in the garage BUT you can also do something else in the garage, also known as placing and deleting blocks
you can make a thruster and put it in the back to push the car when mining

The suspension glitch should be in the center of the vehicle so it has a better mechanical advantage
As far as I remember, the only thing you use honeycomb for in vanilla is to make tires.
Without a garage, my rightful expectation of Excellent Game-play may be permanently blunted.

Maybe mark the chests with force build items. Like metal chest has metal one block on it and food chest has a carrot on it etc.
Also, suspension glitch needs to be on center mass.
Dude you should make the enhanced drill you clicked on it while looking for things that took seeds and sat there for like a good 5 seconds but it makes it Go boom
Resource collector needs 4x the pick up range and we need a smaller refinery to put on vehicles.
I wonder if the suspension glitch would would better if it was placed closer to the middle of the vehicle. istead of hanging off the rear left like it is now.

Could the turning rate of the suspension glitch be related to the turn angle of the seat? Only way to check that would be to upgrade it to level 5...
Or, can a controller push a suspension glitch bearing?
really needs a recipe to make fertiliser from the seeds, maybe ask the dev to add one?
you really should invest in an enhanced drill. why, you ask? explosions on demand, capable of uprooting even those pesky half-buried rock pieces(as long you got chemicals to use that is, but you got the pond in HQ for that) what's not to love?
Honeycomb was always for wheels. and water pumps, tanks etc.
you could try putting hydraulics on the wheels

I'm not certain, but wouldn't it be better if the suspension glitch was at the rotational midpoint, aka between the middle two tires?
If you upgrade the seat to level 5 and increase the angle of the suspension glitch bearings, it should be stronger

I don't know why when you are planning 18 or less crops you don't just utilize the fact your crop field is split between two tiles and you can plant 9 crops on one side and 9 on the other, thus no raid
You could double up the bearings instead of upping the engine

Could you put the drills on a bar that can rotate say 5° at a time up-and-down with a two controllers on repeat with buttons and maybe have that bar on a piston?
The large supension is way stronger. You can max out your seat for more turning rate. Thas makes the glitch stronger

No you can't use the sicle to the honeycomb, but you can use it to harvest the corn

Can you build an automatic tree farm? You can place saplings with the item sucker/shooter thing. I've got one that plants and starts to cut, but the logs move around too much.

kAN, Track Width is the distance between wheels on the opposite side of the vehicle. Wheel base is the distance between the front and rear wheel.
track width is side to side, i don't think there's a term for front to back but wheel base is the proportions of the wheels in a rectangle!

I keep finding stuff in the refinery output too, but it never seems to hang up and block operation.
