I've been running a 1998 T56 behind my 454 since 2003. Clutch finally gave up the ghost and 3rd gear is grinding a bit these days. I just ordered a new Magnum-F since I have it out and thinking about ordering this crossmember. I had modified the original crossmember to fit. Total PITA to get out. Only way was with a hammer to persuade it that last half inch or so. I could only get it to come out on the passenger side of the frame. Holley/Hooker says this is for an 'LS Swap,' but I really do not see how that matters. I run adjustable upper rear control arms from Global West to correct for the driveline angle. 8 weeks to get a driveshaft back? That is crazy! I am out near Sac and Driveline Service had mine ready by lunch the next day. Thanks for the review.

Thanks. they must have come out with this the last year or so, I had to cut and flip my tab on my factory crossmember(I have the T56 magnum also). and its side ways a tad. I'm going to order(6 years ago they didn't make one for the magnum , just 4L80 etc) one, there on back order, but I need it 100% correct before my twins go on my LQ4.

I ended up spacing my trans up another 1.25" to get proper driveline angles. I probably could have modified the stock xmember as well. I will be running 3" dual exhaust so it should tuck up nice. Another nice feature is the removable foot, otherwise the stocker would be impossible to remove and install.
