I like how you dropped down to where you needed to go for Godrick. I never tried that because I didn’t feel like dying. I’ll definitely be following that shortcut. The birds and certain knights are annoying at Stormveil.
This is a great guide for new players and i appreciate it tremendously. My only suggestion is to grab the maps. Brand new players following this guide may have a very hard time trying to figure out locations with everything all hidden. Other than that i think you did an amazing job.
@@dondemonico Yeah, I am going to agree with you on this. I would suggest new players play through the game once and enjoy the progress. This is a great guide for fast leveling alt characters for different builds and testing new builds. The joy playing this game is the suffering and learning. There is no joy, at least IMO from smashing a boss with an OP character, instead of learning it's attack pattern, slowly chipping away at it, knowing, one mistake could be your death. Yes, it can be frustrating at times, but the biggest smile I get is from dancing with death and coming out with a win. But I understand some people just want to play as they want, and if that means no challenge and very little effort, I guess it is their choice. I just feel they're missing out on what the game is about.
After last update ,night cavalery trick dont work ,he is respawning at the bridge :) ,but thers still a trick to make him fall of the bridge :) if someone is intrested i can make a video
For those who might be stuck on the Mohgwyn boss exploit, it had been patched. The devs moved the column over so you can't make the jump however you can still cheese him from that column if you have a bow and a lot of poison and bleed arrows.
Poisons arrow = 1500 damages/ ~=20 arrows (poisons ticks only, arrows does nothing with a +13 bow) and its like 1/30 of his life, and you can only have 99 each on you ... and without the long distance bow and featered arrows you just cant hit him. Couldnt test with bleed ones cause i didnt make them with featers so they fell too short ... i suck at this game ^^
@@jackgallop1660 they will reach, you have to arc the shot. If you notice a small bit of movement the you hit him but make sure not to stagger him. If he gets staggered then you have to start over
@@chosenvoid3983 This happened to me, got his health down to about 1/3, and he was not getting poisoned anymore. After that I just thought to myself screw it, im going to go in and try to finish him off. I walked through the gate and he didnt move and didnt aggro, I just stood at the entrance and shot him with arrows. I think the cheese outside with the arrows eventually gets to his second phase or something, stopping anymore damge outside the gate for some reason.

The reason it gabe 55,000 is because the chance of an enemy giving 5x the normal amount of runes, you can see their eyes will have a little golden trail

Hey great guide. But SLOOOOW DOWN. I must have rewound fifty times because the items and places featured were flashed on screen. Your 45 min video took me twice as long. The fast forward travel parts are fine but hardly necessary. When I need to get a specific item, you sped right over the info.
Not many people know about this but when the dragon flinches from killing it, you want to quickly hop on your mount, head and rest at the grace point as fast as possible before the dragon disappears. This will “respawn” the dragon but still get the runes. You also won’t get the dragon hearts but can can keep doing this over and over. I’ve gotten to lvl 182 by doing this.
THIS DOESNT WORK NOW - FYI they have moved that pillar back now so you cannot jump on the wall to cheese the boss. Sorry guys looks like you gonna have to kill the boss legit
The 6:44 one doesn’t work for me, it does follow me, but when the poison comes out it just stops coming towards me, and then there are the little goblins that kill me every single time
Pretty sure the stones you jump on to skip the boss have been patched, there a lot further from the wall now, more in line with the pots at the entrance to him
I think the Night’s Cavalry exploit may have been patched. The Knight will only follow you 3/4 of the way up the hill no matter how close you stay to him and then runs back to the bridge very quickly.
@@YeeterJones yeah like going around to where the other side of the bridge starts and going up there. he'll try and follow and then plumet to his inevitable death.
They patched the ability to jump on gravestones and into Mog's pit to get that kill. They moved the tombstones further away so you cannot do this any longer.
Can still shoot arrows into the room and hit him. So instead of jumping get flechted blood arrows and the poison arrows. Works just the same just a tad slower.
@@regaside7866 Tried this. Wasn't able to kill him with 150+ fletched arrows. When I approached he didn't attack until I got him down to about 3/4 life. Then he killed me. Other options?
this guide is awesome! i did want to let you know about the margit fight though! i used the shackle and then when i went through the mist, i used my crossbow instead of my sword and he never moved the whole time! i didn't even have to use my summon! i hope this information is useful to you! 😊
Great guide. Been doing all these things already. But just started a new game on Xbox series x instead of new game + on my pc. And just a little run down of everything I need to do.

The loss of currency on death is one of the legacy gameplay mechanics that fucking suck. It doesn’t make the game more fun. That alone is merit enough for change.
There’s also a glitch with the dragon at the start before you kill him get on your horse kill him and ride as fast as you can to the grace behind you he will respawn and you still get the runes although you only get 50k each time, you do have to jump off the horse and rest at the grace for him to respawn and you won’t get the dragon hearts only the runes

If you progress through the game at a normal pace you should have areas unlocked with enemies that give more runes. It shouldn't take hours to get to just 25k. Just being in the capital you can make that pretty quickly fighting enemies. So what I'm saying is, if you're still not progressing much as far as the story, but are trying to level up, just continue on. It's much more fun to get the runes that way than doing the same damn thing for hours. If it's your first run of the game, it's gonna be a lot more rewarding and fun if you just play naturally. But then again, everyone plays differently I guess.
@@kaitlynblount7683 yeah 💯 👌 But sometimes you need to level a bit in souls games. That's part of it. You lose loads of souls almost every time you die and you've to get it back somehow and fill that gap. 4 or 5 levels from time to time is very helpful ✌️

Mohg boss fight cheese is still possible even for low lvl. All You need to do is stand on the gravestone you jumped before and just shoot him with normal arrows till he is staggerd, than walk in with bleed dmg weapon and just kill him. He wont move untill You stagger him again. So just keep in mind that invisible stagger bar.
i know this video is old but i hope i can still get help. i let my brother play and he aggroed White Mask Varre on me and i cant kill him, is the pureblood medal quest completely out of the question?? EDIT: if you aggro the white mask varre you can go to the church of vows and use celestial dew to de aggro him
Love this guide it helped a lot, however, I've been having a problem with the step with Kite Night's Cavalry. I did what the guide said, but he just keeps teleporting back to his spawn point even when he was right behind me.
through some trial and error you can "lure" him to the outside of the bridge, if you use torrent and run on a tiny sliver that's protruding from the bridge, the Night-Cavalry will some times run off the edge and die.. Worked for me, good luck :-)

Hey you can make friendly again if you go to the church if vows and atone for your sins this will reset your relationship with the npc as long as you didn’t kill him
I don't think this game is for me. I feel like I am watching the walkthrough as much as if not more than I am actually playing the game. I'm just going to move on to something else I think.
Make sure before you go into the madness land to empty your item bar so you only have health and horse rather than scrolling through to get each. Also I think that jump was nerfed. Impossible to do now.
Actually, skip the madness land, don’t go there, go back to the chapel of anticipation using the four belfry’s, it is much much easier to beat that boss than to keep dying to madness.

Using the Margit Shackle: use 20 times at the fog, wait for 10 seconds before entering. Enter. Target Margit. Walk up and use 1 light attack every 10 seconds. Margit’s stagger bar will never fill so wont move until he dies. Takes 3 or 4 minutes but easy fight.
tysm. I used this strat and also noticed you don’t even have to wait the 10 seconds before entering the boss room, just use the 20 margit shackles and get busy
The trick to jumping over the wall and fighting the boss that just stands there has been patched, they moved the pillars away from the wall so you can no longer jump onto it.
Obtain his shackle, then use it three times Infront of the mist door of his fight, once you enter, he should be frozen. Then hit him until he dies BUT make sure to not stagger him otherwise he becomes unfrozen..
Up on the same spot that you jump from to get on the wall if you stand there and use the serpent arrows or blood arrows the status effects will still happen and he'll take damage from those but not the arrows themselves. You want two stacks of the blood arrows and two stacks of the serpent arrows put one stack down on the ground manually go back to the grace site rest pick up more arrows go back up there once you run out of the arrows that you have on you pick up the ones that are down on the stacks.
Oh and be careful because if he's staggers he won't take damage anymore so after you initiate the poison get too bleed effects off wait for the poison to wear off rinse repeat victory
6/5 POST PATCH MOGH CHEESE: You can still cheese Mogh, but you can no longer jump from the pillar to the wall (devs moved pillar). To do the cheese, you need a bow with 99 arrows and a non-magic melee weapon. 1. Enter the boss room and let Mogh kill you. Now, from outside the yellow door, jump on top of the pillar mentioned in the video until you can see the boss in the distance. 2. Aim your bow and keep hitting the boss with arrows until he staggers and stop shooting him. It will probably take 50-60 arrows. Just keep at it. You won’t really be doing any damage so I wouldn’t waste poison arrows. You’ll know you hit him when he flinches and you see blood. Once he staggers (stumbles down for a few seconds) you can enter the room. Now make sure you have a basic non-magic melee weapon equipped. Colossal weapons are too strong and will break the glitch. I used Uchiganta with blood loss and that worked, the blood loss actually help speed up this next part. 3. If you’ve done the Margit cheese, it will basically be the same thing. Walk up to the front of the boss (don’t try to go behind). Hit him with light attacks 8-10 times (no combos). Wait 15 seconds, then start again. Repeat until you kill him! If you use combos or don’t wait long enough to start hitting him again, it could agro Mogh. Hope that helps!
Sounded as if you said headed west, yet we seem to be going East dude, you need to understand that like most of us we hate the sped up video, you could of simply went either at normal speed, or at just a little faster, as we are perfectly able to speed it up ourselves..instead of being lost and having to go over your video 10 times..

For the Night Cavalry, if you run up and jump on that tree branch extended up over the bridge when your initially riding torwards the NC, you're aggro will pull him beneath you and he will fall off the bridge - use your Scarab + pop a Golden Fowl Foot and it's done :D Awesome guide btw, thank you so much bro
I'm up to the Margit boss fight. Not bad for one night. I guess the only issues I ran into were the Kite Knight no longer can be kited, and the boulders only drop 21 runes, not 2100. Other than that, really really helpful. Especially considering this is my first Souls game.
For the Night Cavalry they won’t follow you through the poison anymore but you can still cheese them by knocking them off the bridge. If you approach from the same angle in the video there is a tree at the beginning right side of the bridge, you can aggro them from there and they will ride around trying to attack, keep it up and they’ll just ride off the edge 😂
The version of the glitch he is using has been patched, but there is a better version, just look up « nights cavalry glitch » it should be a 55 second video, it works perfectly

I climbed on the tree after the bridge. It hangs over the bridge. He tried to chase me. But fell off the bridge.

@@jackgallop1660 they will reach, you have to arc the shot. If you notice a small bit of movement the you hit him but make sure not to stagger him. If he gets staggered then you have to start over
@@chosenvoid3983 This happened to me, got his health down to about 1/3, and he was not getting poisoned anymore. After that I just thought to myself screw it, im going to go in and try to finish him off. I walked through the gate and he didnt move and didnt aggro, I just stood at the entrance and shot him with arrows. I think the cheese outside with the arrows eventually gets to his second phase or something, stopping anymore damge outside the gate for some reason.

The reason it gabe 55,000 is because the chance of an enemy giving 5x the normal amount of runes, you can see their eyes will have a little golden trail

You need to get the gold foot from the beach BEFORE you do the Dragon. You will get 96k instead of 76k

Hey great guide. But SLOOOOW DOWN. I must have rewound fifty times because the items and places featured were flashed on screen. Your 45 min video took me twice as long. The fast forward travel parts are fine but hardly necessary. When I need to get a specific item, you sped right over the info.
Not many people know about this but when the dragon flinches from killing it, you want to quickly hop on your mount, head and rest at the grace point as fast as possible before the dragon disappears. This will “respawn” the dragon but still get the runes. You also won’t get the dragon hearts but can can keep doing this over and over. I’ve gotten to lvl 182 by doing this.

@@austin9444 Yes, it seem a bit scuffed but you can still do it. When you get to the tomb near the wall call your horse and quickly sprint and jump.

If you use the rahdahn bow and radahn arrows you can shoot the bird then to go to the grace and you will get the arrow back

I think the Night’s Cavalry exploit may have been patched. The Knight will only follow you 3/4 of the way up the hill no matter how close you stay to him and then runs back to the bridge very quickly.

This horse boss can't be glitched to death with poison anymore already has been patched on PS4

They patched the ability to jump on gravestones and into Mog's pit to get that kill. They moved the tombstones further away so you cannot do this any longer.
Can still shoot arrows into the room and hit him. So instead of jumping get flechted blood arrows and the poison arrows. Works just the same just a tad slower.
@@regaside7866 Tried this. Wasn't able to kill him with 150+ fletched arrows. When I approached he didn't attack until I got him down to about 3/4 life. Then he killed me. Other options?

That was the final boss sword (Sacred Relic Sword I believe it’s called) and the attack was the skill that comes on it by default.

this guide is awesome! i did want to let you know about the margit fight though! i used the shackle and then when i went through the mist, i used my crossbow instead of my sword and he never moved the whole time! i didn't even have to use my summon! i hope this information is useful to you! 😊

Don't know if this works or not but that Dragon don't die for me.
There’s also a glitch with the dragon at the start before you kill him get on your horse kill him and ride as fast as you can to the grace behind you he will respawn and you still get the runes although you only get 50k each time, you do have to jump off the horse and rest at the grace for him to respawn and you won’t get the dragon hearts only the runes
Any trick that requires jumping just right will cause me more pain then just getting less elsewhere !

If you progress through the game at a normal pace you should have areas unlocked with enemies that give more runes. It shouldn't take hours to get to just 25k. Just being in the capital you can make that pretty quickly fighting enemies. So what I'm saying is, if you're still not progressing much as far as the story, but are trying to level up, just continue on. It's much more fun to get the runes that way than doing the same damn thing for hours. If it's your first run of the game, it's gonna be a lot more rewarding and fun if you just play naturally. But then again, everyone plays differently I guess.

But sometimes you need to level a bit in souls games. That's part of it. You lose loads of souls almost every time you die and you've to get it back somehow and fill that gap.
4 or 5 levels from time to time is very helpful ✌️

Mohg boss fight cheese is still possible even for low lvl. All You need to do is stand on the gravestone you jumped before and just shoot him with normal arrows till he is staggerd, than walk in with bleed dmg weapon and just kill him. He wont move untill You stagger him again. So just keep in mind that invisible stagger bar.

Love this guide it helped a lot, however, I've been having a problem with the step with Kite Night's Cavalry. I did what the guide said, but he just keeps teleporting back to his spawn point even when he was right behind me.

through some trial and error you can "lure" him to the outside of the bridge, if you use torrent and run on a tiny sliver that's protruding from the bridge, the Night-Cavalry will some times run off the edge and die.. Worked for me, good luck :-)

If the cavalry knight is not dying by poison try luring him on the side of bridge. Go to a small ledge and he will fall trying to chase you.

Hey you can make friendly again if you go to the church if vows and atone for your sins this will reset your relationship with the npc as long as you didn’t kill him

Make sure before you go into the madness land to empty your item bar so you only have health and horse rather than scrolling through to get each. Also I think that jump was nerfed. Impossible to do now.

Actually, skip the madness land, don’t go there, go back to the chapel of anticipation using the four belfry’s, it is much much easier to beat that boss than to keep dying to madness.

Using the Margit Shackle: use 20 times at the fog, wait for 10 seconds before entering. Enter. Target Margit. Walk up and use 1 light attack every 10 seconds. Margit’s stagger bar will never fill so wont move until he dies. Takes 3 or 4 minutes but easy fight.
tysm. I used this strat and also noticed you don’t even have to wait the 10 seconds before entering the boss room, just use the 20 margit shackles and get busy

The trick to jumping over the wall and fighting the boss that just stands there has been patched, they moved the pillars away from the wall so you can no longer jump onto it.

Obtain his shackle, then use it three times Infront of the mist door of his fight, once you enter, he should be frozen. Then hit him until he dies BUT make sure to not stagger him otherwise he becomes unfrozen..

Up on the same spot that you jump from to get on the wall if you stand there and use the serpent arrows or blood arrows the status effects will still happen and he'll take damage from those but not the arrows themselves. You want two stacks of the blood arrows and two stacks of the serpent arrows put one stack down on the ground manually go back to the grace site rest pick up more arrows go back up there once you run out of the arrows that you have on you pick up the ones that are down on the stacks.
Oh and be careful because if he's staggers he won't take damage anymore so after you initiate the poison get too bleed effects off wait for the poison to wear off rinse repeat victory

So the things you jump on for Morgho the blood has been moved slightly and lowered making the jump impossible now
6/5 POST PATCH MOGH CHEESE:
You can still cheese Mogh, but you can no longer jump from the pillar to the wall (devs moved pillar).
To do the cheese, you need a bow with 99 arrows and a non-magic melee weapon.
1. Enter the boss room and let Mogh kill you. Now, from outside the yellow door, jump on top of the pillar mentioned in the video until you can see the boss in the distance.
2. Aim your bow and keep hitting the boss with arrows until he staggers and stop shooting him. It will probably take 50-60 arrows. Just keep at it. You won’t really be doing any damage so I wouldn’t waste poison arrows. You’ll know you hit him when he flinches and you see blood. Once he staggers (stumbles down for a few seconds) you can enter the room. Now make sure you have a basic non-magic melee weapon equipped. Colossal weapons are too strong and will break the glitch.
I used Uchiganta with blood loss and that worked, the blood loss actually help speed up this next part.
3. If you’ve done the Margit cheese, it will basically be the same thing. Walk up to the front of the boss (don’t try to go behind). Hit him with light attacks 8-10 times (no combos). Wait 15 seconds, then start again. Repeat until you kill him! If you use combos or don’t wait long enough to start hitting him again, it could agro Mogh.

Hey everyone, just thought I'd share what I found through your video. For the Night Cavalry, if you run up and jump on that tree branch extended up over the bridge when your initially riding torwards the NC, you're aggro will pull him beneath you and he will fall off the bridge - use your Scarab + pop a Golden Fowl Foot and it's done :D

I'm up to the Margit boss fight. Not bad for one night. I guess the only issues I ran into were the Kite Knight no longer can be kited, and the boulders only drop 21 runes, not 2100. Other than that, really really helpful. Especially considering this is my first Souls game.
Bit of a late reply but the boulders will still drop 19k if they roll of the map. They will only drop 21 if they despawn.

For the Night Cavalry they won’t follow you through the poison anymore but you can still cheese them by knocking them off the bridge. If you approach from the same angle in the video there is a tree at the beginning right side of the bridge, you can aggro them from there and they will ride around trying to attack, keep it up and they’ll just ride off the edge 😂

The version of the glitch he is using has been patched, but there is a better version, just look up « nights cavalry glitch » it should be a 55 second video, it works perfectly
