WARNING: Playing All-Star with Plant Boi causes a bug that will corrupt your save and delete EVERYTHING. I haven't done this myself, but it has affected many people. And yes, there is All-Star. And @Ninkendo if you read this, Classic can also affect your save sometimes. You might have gotten lucky. Digital owners have been reported to be more vulnerable to this, but physicals aren't safe either. Mii Swordfighter and Duck Hunt Duo are also capable of doing this with Century Smash, and not with that other glich. Best to stay away from Games and More for now, especially with Plant. Edit: found out the Mii and Duck Hunt Duo glitch was patched. Plant, however, still can ruin your game.

I didn't understand the Classic mode when I went through it, but as soon as I saw the Inklings I made the connection that "New Bloom" relates to Plant being a newcomer, so he fights all the newcomers including Rathalos, the new boss

For those who are also confused about Plant's Classic route, it's all the newcomers for Ultimate
As for why the K. Rool + Chrom fight is on Pirate Ship, it's because you fight K. Rool on his ship in the first Donkey Kong Country
Unrelated, but good news for Incineroar mains: His UpB goes higher now. I don't know specifically how much higher, but in the Training Stage, he comes just shy of the vertical 5m [I assume it's meters, anyway] mark when used from the ground

I’m not entirely sure what I did but when he gets health back he will go into the tube after consuming the poison I think it’s inputting downwards I only noticed that it heals when I was fight bowser and he was charging at me

Z A N E it would've been great if Piranha Plant's classic mode just had everyone from the grinch link to laugh at everyone (excluding Ken). A black colored Sonic, Duck Hunt (Banjo Kazooie), Wario but he spams his Side-B (could be Bowser Jr. as well), I know the Geno mii outfit is gone but maybe Mii Gunner, etc.

Idk if you’ll see this but also in the update they added if you press both of the jump buttons you do a short hop
Theres also jump and attack buttons. If u press both at the same time u do a short hop and attack of choice fair Nair bait uair etc.... But that's always been there since release date. There's a part int the game training where you can see all the techs available and how to perform them

Some tips for the "budding" Piranha Plant player:
If you want a longer range shot from your Neutral-B, wait until the spike ball is closer to PP.
PP deals 4% if he's footstooled while crouching.
A fully charged Side-B can deal around 45% and tear through shields if they're stuck inside the cloud. It can also function as a free smokescreen.
Try Palutena's Guidance for a grueling lesson on enemy diversity.
Plant's classic mode is about fighting newcomers, which is why you fight all the new characters + Rathalos instead of the Hands. Hence "new bloom."
Also, for that section in the classic mini game, you have to break the red blocks through the floor. I'm pretty sure every character has a move that can hit through there. Usually Up Air.
