THANK YOU JASON. Mice were in the walls, crawl space in the attic, and a couple running around the the house. Took about 10 days. Problem solve. Los Angeles, CA.
Great video Green Akers Pest Control LLC merchandise . I was wondering if you could give me your opinion or advice. I had controlled a mouse problem a few months back in my house with Motomco Jaguar red bait chunks and it worked really good. I even watched them eat it.I put down about ten blocks and they were entirely gone after about a week or so. The mouse occurrence disappeared and and about three months later their back. I put down the same poison again and this time they won't go for it. What could be the reason for that ? Can they get use to it ? Is it also possible that if human scent may have gotten on the blocks that they wont go near them . I just can't figure it . The last time it worked fine. Now they don't go near the stuff. Could it be that its taking the new colony some time to find it appealing to eat ?
thank you, sir! What is your opinion on getting a cat? I live in an old building in NYC. I never had an issue now my wife and I are finding droppings everywhere. It is a building-wide issue and my landlord is not able to make everyone treat their units. I just purchased your recommendations on poison and bait stations.
You have great videos. And I learn alot from your videos, becuase I'm just getting into the pest control business, and your wisdom has helped me out alot. But I have one question about this video. The mice bait that you recommend, you call it weatherbloc. Well, I get alot of my products from do my own pest control, and their are alot of different weather block mice control products. Which one would you recommend, because they vary in prices.

Thank you, thankyou, thankyou. For you EXCELLENT VIDEO. You ❤️ are very articulate iin your description. The video & audio are clear & concise. I have the Victor mouse traps. I have been using them for one week UNSUCESSFULLY! The package direction is not informative enough...I have been applying the peanut butter, as per the weak instruction...applying the bait on the yellow plastic.. where I believed it was meant to be. All week long unsuccessfully, which is frustrating... Very disappointing, yet I persisted. My daughter, 28, is a Veterinarian (DVM degree )...but does not reside here. She looked up Google & found your web site for me. Thanks to your awesome, informative video. tonight i'm back i in business, ha, the proper way!!! I was putting the PNB directly on the yellow square as i interpreted the POOR INSTRUCTIONS. Now, I have it in the tiny ! BUCKET space as shown, along with your precise AUDIO. the bucket space didn't seem to me to be where the bait should go...so tiny!!! Thank you again Mr Akers... professional EXTERMINATOR.
Really I find that hard to believe youit said, yourself in earlier videos they come inside and find a spot like the couch cause it's winter. Also their nests well when I have had a problem, I have found their best inside
Is it normal to bait for mice inside the home? I realize each PCT has his or her personal method, but I saw a previous video saying to never bait mice inside the home. Thanks in advance for your time and teaching experience.
Exactly what most people want to know. Yeah what happens I'd they go to a Jody hole you can't get to unless you damage your home they are going to cause a stink
If you do not over use bait, and check bait stations very regularly, once bait is looking chewed, replace it and use said bait blocks in rat burrows under ground. At least that is the law in Virginia anyway. I have no idea what laws are like where you work if that is even an option for you.
Hello Jason. Thank you for your valuable information. I also live in Virginia about 45 minutes from West Virginia. I live on a decent size piece of property with a creek running on one border and a river in the back of the house. The river is about 500 feet from our house. We have all the little varmints typical of living in the woods. We have had a typical number of mice who have always been easily caught in the house. We have never seen rats, ever. I have heard of river rats, but the Cowpasture River is the cleanest river in the state so I have been told. My problem.... I got into my car a couple of days ago and went to put my seat belt on and I couldn't get it to pull out. When I checked the belt it was almost "chewed" in half. It had frayed threads where it was cut. I told my husband that it was a mouse and he thought I had dragged the seatbelt on the road. Not possible. I bought trapped and 2 nights in a row I checked the traps and the bait was completely gone and get this, the traps were not sprung. They were pristinely clean but still set. What could this be. I am terrified of rats being in there. If a rat, mouse or snake ran or crawled over my feet I would faint while driving. LOL... Any ideas and suggestion? And again thank you....
Hi Jason. I had a 4 foot long black snake in my house two days ago. My friend took It outside and let it go, then it went under the house!!! I watched some of your videos and decided to put out some mouse bait stations to hopefully get rid of the snake’s reason for coming back in the house. I bought some mouse attractant to put on the bait stations, but then got worried that the mouse attractant might also attract the snake back into the house if it’s not already back inside. What do you think? Should I put the bait stations outside, inside, or both? I called pest control but it’ll be a few days before they come, and I can’t just sit back and do nothing! I’m scared to death in my own house. I was going to put out some snake glue traps in case the snake came back in, but then I watched your video about not using glue traps and how the mice chew their own legs off, now I don’t know what to do. Please help me!
A lot of people actually use mouse attractants on their bait but if you place the stations near the baseboards so the mice will wander into them there usually isn’t an issue with them taking the bait. I would leave the stations where they are. The snake is attracted to the food so you need to take care of that no matter where the snake is. This will ensure he stays away and won’t come back.
Luke McDermott sometimes you can’t. I choose the bait I use because it dries out the bodies of the mice so that when they do die they leave little to no odor at all
I set a rat trap and saw it caught a Rat about 6 am in the morning outside the backyard. when I went to take it away at 8 am the rat's body was gone and only the head was in the trap. What do you think happened to its body from the 6 am when I saw it in the trap and the 8 am when I took up the trap? any ideas? All that was left was a decapitated head in the trap.
well we just had an ice storm. there are no racoons or skunks or owls or anything of the sort out. And no one is letting their cats out in this weather. I was thinking it was other rats but in two hours is that possible to eat or remove the entire body and sever the head. Is possible rats did it. It was a pretty big rat that was caught itself. by the way rats ate all our rat poison but none died. They ate two boxes worth over two weeks? What rat poison actually works these days?
I'm afraid to bait the mice, because how do you stop the mice from dying in your wall? And if they do, what can you do about it? That is why so far I have been just doing traps... and while effective eventually, sometimes it is frustrating.
martianleader1 try as close as possible and bait well but be sure to get the dead mouse off the trap ASAP because they do recognize death when one has been killed on a trap

I commented on the member only video before I got to this one. 2022, this pesticide is available/legal in all states EXCEPT CA.

Where is the best place for traps? I have mice that don't seem to use the same path everyday. They go where they please.
What about when they die in the walls though? I don’t like the idea of them rotting and smelling in the wall.
The bait I use causes them to get ill and they usually die in their nest. Most mice actually live outside as opposed to in the home itself.
Green Akers Pest Control LLC wow that comment makes me feel better lol

Honestly how often find them dead within sight and how often you can smell their stench but can't see where they have died

Do mice repell against peppermint oil and onions

I agree, change the baits after a few days if no luck and be patient- eventually the mice will drop their guard.
Do you ever worry about the mouse dying in a crawl space you can't reach and the house smelling?
Not really the rodenticide I use rarely causes them to leave an odor
What's the Rodenticide you use ?

What do u do if you had an exterminator who came in and did nothing? They just set traps. Did not even plug entry points.
