Holy Cow!!! I was blown away Adam!!! The RGB speaker grills are so cool, the thing on top looks amazing, the artwork, the legs… me wiping away tears of joy!!!!
Duuuude the absolute precision and care you're taking with this build is incredible. Love the attention to detail. You totally had my heart when you painted the inside of the wood grill black! A one of a kind machine, from a one of kind builder, going to a one of a kind gamer. Love the series and can't wait for the finished product!
I've had mine for about a year now and in general I love it. But I did have a few problems with build quality. First is the bottom access panel will not sit anything close to flush when closed. I'm over it. Second the back glass door won't close when attached to the cams so it can pivot. I pulled the cams out and now just use the one clip and some low tackiness tape. It's against a wall so who cares? If it tighten the rear legs, it forces the small vertical parts that form the corners to bow out, making the lower rear panel not attach right. I forget what I did to fix that. I opted to not have a dmd hole cut and instead I use a old fire hd tablet connected via spacedesk and attached by command strips. It is an older tablet so uses wifi and the score laga a little bit not a problem. Newer tablets with USBC connections don't use wifi so respond better. I also put in the joystick and three buttons so I can use it for vertical shooters in mame along with pinball fx3. I didn't get bezels for either of my screens... was that an option or did you make them yourself? I haven't seen your earlier videos yet since this is what the almighty algorithm said I should watch. Finally what monitor did you use? I know they say 27" but it looks like to maybe able to squeeze a 29-30" one... I got impatient and threw in a 24" I had laying around. The back glass is a ViewSonic 20" unit that I stripped out of its casing to wedge it in. And the PC won't fit until I take the cab apart to change out the screen so it sits on the floor for now. Function over form! Overall I think this kit is good for the money especially if you catch one of their sales. Not perfect but pretty good. Oh yeah and the routing for the t molding was a bit too wide in some places. Hockey stick tape fixes everything though.

27 inch looks a sweet spot for a home - do you wish you went bigger or you happy. Looks awesome!
