I haven't had a Greggs in years (probably about 25 years) but my friday lunch when at uni was a sausage roll or steak bake and a cup of cream of chicken . Dirty food but bloody lovely and hit the spot

I work at Greggs and the Margarita pizza and pepperoni pizzas are identical, the only difference is we put 5 bits of pepperoni on top. We no longer sell the vegan stake, its now a vegan sausage been and cheese. All 3 of the cookies were slightly over baked, could of done with a couple mins less. The apple "turnover" Is an apple Danish. Jam donut is apple and raspberry jam. Lemon muffin has been replaced with a sticky toffee muffin. The glazed Ring donut and the Yumyum are usually sold out by lunch in the buisier shops. All donuts are delivered fresh the night before ready for the next day.
Gregs in my absolute go to, I have their vegan stake bake attest 2/3 times a week. One of my vegan staples. It's really good because I just get the vegan bake's then a vegan doughnut, just wish they did soy milk or something. I think the reason the vegan sausage roll is lighter is so the staff can easily see the difference between the two. Amazing video!!!!
Sainsbury's recently added 3 vegan items to their bakery section, fingers crossed the one you regular has em stocked, would be mint to get your guys opinions on them
I’m absolutely hooked on Yum Yums, glazed donuts, fudge custard donut and pink Jammy donut. Always watched my weight and exercise but recently I’ve been eating rubbish. I have put a bit of weight on. I’m Really bad for cakes and pastries. Just fed up with everyone going on about watching there figure and going to gym. I’ve done it for too long. Just want to eat what I want for a change.
My brother used to be on a board of directors for Greggs!I was always telling him their goods were too dry!.Wondering if you`ve ever tried their mince pies ? I`ve a funny story about those being burnt and the manager responsible getting them ALL boxed and stacked in his office!LOL DIdn1t happen again..owwch..Great video ,have a great week guys.Xx
I know this is 5 months old but just a heads up the pizzas are both the same we literally just add pepperoni to the cheese and tomato base before cooking it . ❤️❤️

How interesting! I am so disappointed that you didn't like Greggs more but then we don't have the choice of different places where i live compared to you guys so maybe i would feel the same if i was comparing. 😀 I have a Greggs probably almost every week and either have the cheese bake or the crispy chicken warm baguette. The only sweet things i have tried is the jam biscuit and the white choc bic. I like both. Shame they had run out of the veggie bake. That's good. Very peppery which i like

Since Greggs stopped selling Egg Custard tarts I've stopped going there. Even though I do love their sausage rolls their decision to get rid of many historical classics has upset me. After the custard tarts disappeared in London I used to be able to get them when I visited Manchester on business. But then they were eventually pulled from those stores, even though they were big sellers. My alternative is now the pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) sold in Lidl. Poor show greggs.

I absolutely love Belgian buns and I’ve tried loads from different bakeries and my favourite has to be Gregg’s. The filling is always so nice

i think the colours of the non vegan and vegan pastries are different because they normally put egg wash on top🤷🏼♀️
They don’t do an egg wash on their non vegan items!…only know as I’m allergic to egg and the only baked which contains egg is the chicken one!
Maybe a butter glaze.

They do small soy milk packets, so okay for tea and black coffees. They def should be able to do plant based drinks though x

What keeps greggs in business is the sausage rolls steak bakes and there meal deals.
I used to go in Gregg's all the time but now I just get it in Iceland and bake it in oven or grill less hassle.
