Been watching all your vids and this is probably my favourite tutorial so far. I have really struggled in past to make my drum patterns _stay_ interesting even with modulation, automation, turn arounds, etc. What I was missing was adding all the extra little "splashes" as you call them. I would try to do it but they never felt right, this video has steered me in the right direction. Thanks so much

what are the shortcut keys to be able to view two different channels at the same time?
Hold Cmd and click at the channels you want to view in session mode. This also works in arrangement view.

Which software did you use to modify the song?
I don't know if I understood you correctly. The entire tutorial is done in the DAW - Ableton Live Suite 11.
