My OB told me I could experience ( joy) after 3 weeks . My incision started to ooze from me lifting something heavier than my son. Please remember that the internal stitches take more than six weeks to desolve. If I remember it takes five months for your to completely heal.

That’s good you didn’t have issues. I needed 2 blood transfusions right after birth and took me 3 weeks to not feel any pain. Afterwards it was a pain in my lower back that made it feel like my lower back was split. I could barely stand or walk long.

I am a nurse and I made sure that I follow doctor’s instructions following my surgeries. I hope you didn’t injure yourself. A c-section is major surgery where there are cuts made into your body and your uterus. Healing has to take place inside and outside. Your pain should be improving and not getting worse. My second c section recovery was rough because I also had a 3 year old. A couple of my stitches opened about 3 weeks after and it got infected. But my first one was a breeze. Currently pregnant with my third and will have a c section. I’m sure that recovery will be a doozy as well.

I had pain after my csections went see my doctor and told them they said it can take 6 to 8 weeks to recover and not be in pain and it was six and half weeks to be back to myself and not be in any pain and back to my normal plus I was told not to pick up more then 10 lb doing recovery as well
It takes a while to get well I’ve had 3 C Sections and a few other surgeries in that areas so I know it will take some time to get better you will do well
Hi Torie, It normal to have a lot to a little pain after your second c section. I had four c sections with three live births. I notice after the first one it was a little longer to heal afterwards. I raised 2 step sons and 3 daughters. I losed four children. A set of twins and my last pregnancy was triplets. Only one triplet lived. I am blessed with what I do have. My daughters are 26, 24 and 19.

Hey guys, where do I start. My c-section was a breeze😊. This was in 1993. Having staples was hard for me because I was afraid to move. After about a week, I was moving around fine. We found other ways to "scratch that itch" so to speak because I wasn't going to that 6 week checkup with any problems. I know a woman who was pregnant at her checkup! Ouch!!!
If you are breastfeeding it may not be wise to drink alcoholic beverages unless you think it's okay for the baby to consume alcohol. Let Travis drink for you until baby gets off breast milk. That was a beautiful gesture that the couple paid forward for your food at the restaurant. Now, you pay forward the first chance you get. Keep the love going. GOD bless you guys and babies. They are both absolutely adorable.
Drinking alcohol while breastfeeding will go into your milk which in return you are allowing Breeze to consume. Come on girl, please stop for baby Breeze's well-being!

Waiting 6 weeks is for the healing process! You go to your woman Dr. and please tell her the truth that you did have a " fun time ", lol. Always tell your Dr. the truth!

Tory I’m not sure if not waiting the six weeks could cause you pain but it could be. You didn’t give yourself time to heal
I had pain after my csections went see my doctor and told them they said it can take 6 to 8 weeks to recover and not be in pain and it was six and half weeks to be back to myself and not be in any pain and back to my normal plus I was told not to pick up more then 10 lb doing recovery as well

It takes a while to get well I’ve had 3 C Sections and a few other surgeries in that areas so I know it will take some time to get better you will do well

Hi Torie, It normal to have a lot to a little pain after your second c section. I had four c sections with three live births. I notice after the first one it was a little longer to heal afterwards. I raised 2 step sons and 3 daughters. I losed four children. A set of twins and my last pregnancy was triplets. Only one triplet lived. I am blessed with what I do have. My daughters are 26, 24 and 19.
I love this beautiful couple so very much I’m in a interracial marriage too with my husband being white and I’m a black girl like torie. White men are the best I swear they love you to death and I’m not even joking we’re married for 5 years now and every day it gets better and better..

Hey guys, where do I start. My c-section was a breeze😊. This was in 1993. Having staples was hard for me because I was afraid to move. After about a week, I was moving around fine. We found other ways to "scratch that itch" so to speak because I wasn't going to that 6 week checkup with any problems. I know a woman who was pregnant at her checkup! Ouch!!!
If you are breastfeeding it may not be wise to drink alcoholic beverages unless you think it's okay for the baby to consume alcohol. Let Travis drink for you until baby gets off breast milk. That was a beautiful gesture that the couple paid forward for your food at the restaurant. Now, you pay forward the first chance you get. Keep the love going. GOD bless you guys and babies. They are both absolutely adorable.
Drinking alcohol while breastfeeding will go into your milk which in return you are allowing Breeze to consume. Come on girl, please stop for baby Breeze's well-being!
