Just the fact that we addressed the O-Line is everything. Our defensive line is so legit that we don’t have to have A+ DB’s. This season will be a good one. Protecting the QB is the name of the game. Our QB has not had the time to throw in years. Go AP!! Go Raiders!!
I believe he will be better than incognito… incognito only made one pro bowl. Jpj is more athletic as well. But the nasty he brings I understand the comparison
@dreprofit84 Richie went to multiple probowls not just one , that is simply made up and not true, plus probowls are a joke Carr and Huntley went 2 years ago
@@dokedoker3340it's not ideal but Gardner won a lot of games with Indy last year and this raiders offence has a much more dynamic group of playmakers on offence
I give it a B maybe B+ ….the Bowers pick was a luxury pick more than anything else but at least he should be a beast eventually. JPJ was a solid A pick although it would have been really nice to trade up for Koolaid. Don’t know anything about Glaze or Robinson but both seem to be long players with good upside. Eichanberg will surprise many!
The only thing I like about the Delmar Glaze pick is that it will light a fire under Munford's ass. I think that is a good thing because if you are Munford, how could you lose out to a rookie?
He can play Tackle or Guard and on both sides. His pass protection is next level. He needs work on his run blocking. With injuries it's great to have a dynamic player who can switch positions seamlessly.

Telesco seems like he might be the first real GM the Raiders ever had in their history. His picks, other than Glaze in the third, just seemed like all smart legitimate picks. Jackson Powers is going to be an absolute stud in the trenches. He just feels like an absolute home run. I think 4 or 5 of these picks will make the opening day roster with the rest practice squad players. That’ll be a fantastic draft of it proves to be true. I’m so optimistic about this upcoming season. I think this fanbase will end up falling in love with Minshew at QB, he’ll move those chains with the big plays scattered in between with all these weapons now at his disposal.
I watched some of Glaze's play and he was way more efficient in the right tackle position then the left for sure I think he'll be really good with time and training
I have no worries about our first 2 picks. Both will improve the team. The rest are hard to project, but there is a lot to like with this draft class. Drafting is only the first step. Developing these guys is the next and often more important part. Development has been horrendous for the Raiders in last 3 decades. Hopefully AP can turn this around.
It's like everyone forgot how dominant the Patriots were with Gronk and Hernandez. Don't know if Bowers and Mayer will be that dominant but should be great. Either way, Bowers can play at several positions on the offense, so will give us lots of versatility. Plus dude is a dawg.
We got all of our needs late rounds and we’re hoping last years draft steps up their sophomore year with depth! I give them a B+ we got a LB who likes to hit and a CB who likes to hit! Let’s go!!!!
Love the draft A- , I think Delmar Glaze is a dark horse to be one of the best picks out the class, he’s massive and loves to get down, won’t be overpowered and quick feet.
The truth of our past draft failures has been a combination of reaching for players that could have been had in later rounds, or by swapping down, and subsequently failing to develop the players we picked. Many of our busts have gone on to have serviceable careers as rotational players and even starters on other teams. If this draft is to be truly a success it will be through a combination of not having reached (except maybe in round 3--Glaze), and then putting in the time and effort to develop these youngsters for the next level, instead of assuming they are NFL-ready straight out of the box.
Bowers I give a A- Powers-Johnson I give a B+ Glaze I give a C- Richardson I give a B- Eichenburg I give a B- Laube I give a C Taylor I give a B Devonshire I give a C-
Bowers should get an A grade if the Raiders actually needed a TE and if they didn’t have other glaring needs. At least they didn’t reach to get him. Maybe a better strategy would have been to trade back from the #13 pick to a team that really needed Bowers. Along with swapping #1 picks, the Raiders could have picked up another 3rd round pick or maybe even a #2. In what may turn out to be a very deep draft more picks (especially early ones) is better. From there they could have addressed their needs at CB and OL.
Im so happy for brock bowers a fellow napa native cant wait to see what he brings to the offense and also happy with how the rest of the draft went and the UDFAs we signed to #RN4Life🏴☠️☠
Glaze got drafted for his durability, too. Not just his flexibility. Dude never missed a snap in 3 yrs once he started. Also, 29 bench reps with 35” arms = Ox strong. Fix his feet, he’ll be in the league for 10 yrs.
Agree Mitch JP Johnson was the best pick in this draft. A+ he will slide right on in at LG this will allow him to learn under the best Lt in the league. AKA K. Miller. Now let's pray Mumford can turn into a solid RT. Gotta give it up for my Dawg Decamerion Richardson #HailState.... He will start opposite of Jack Jones. Fayson will be on the outside looking in and Bennett may not make the team.
The fact that you have raider fans out there complaining about getting two of the best talents as low as they did on the board in Bowers and JPJ is insane to me. Telesco and AP knocked this thing out the park.
I have this weird feeling Brock bowers was a safety pick just in case adams gets traded after this season.. i know bowers is a tight end. But he’s a dynamic player. He will be our number 1 target if adams gets traded after this season.
I think we added lots of talent. But no matter how much people say we are gonna run a 2TE offense there's no team with 2 TE going for 2000 yards a year, or nothing even close. The raise of one will necessary mean the demise of the other. in reps and minutes. I expect Bowers taking over and being a Pro Baller for years to come and Mayer leaving in a couple a years for more minutes and shinning somewhere else (maybe not as much as Bowers but being pretty succesful). So eventually is going to be one or the other. But this pick will be valued depending if any of the CBs taken in the first round come out to be Pro Ballers too. If that's the case we just exchange a talented TE for another more talented and miss on a hig caliber starting CB instead. It doen's really add up for me when a team has so many holes as ours, but again not mad about it cause there were no QBs left to draft if they din't have any CBs highly graded then this makes total sense. I do think Penix JR is going to be a baller though ( he has more talent in that left arm than Minshwe and AOC put together) but I wouldn't have traded up either cause the risk of that not hapenning is much higher than Bowers. I give it a B grade.
No brock will not be a bust. He's gonna be a Dave Casper or Todd Christianson . The rest of the draft left me feeling more confident than I have in years. Finally, I'm not wishing and hoping I'm truly believing this staff is actually leading us in the right direction. Fan since 74 Goooo Raiders.
