Relax and enjoy a scenic drive down the Route 100 and 30 to stunning Manchester, Vermont. Known for summer recreation, famous ski slopes, Ben & Jerry's and mostly the leaves changing colors in Fall, Vermont comes to life in Autumn as the rolling green hills and field change color before winter comes. This drive runs up Route 100 and 30 from Ludlow to Manchester, Vermont through the scenic Green Mountains under the back drop of Okemo Mountain, a must visit Vermont Ski Resort. Much of the The exquisite foliage colors light up the road, the mountains, and the fields and showcases why Vermont is THE state to experience Autumn.
The foliage of the Green Mountains in Vermont draws leaf peepers from around New England, the northeast, and the United States. The rolling green hills, famous maple syrup stands, and stunning rivers demonstrate the beauty and simplicity of Vermont making it a perfect fall destination for tourists, travelers, and everyone in between.

Wonderful! When I was teaching at Middlebury College 2000-2015, I would often take a long drive Saturday mornings through Vermont or into the Adirondacks. One of my favorite trips was to scoot over to Route 100 in Hancock, and then follow it down to Londonderry where I would down switch to Route 11, and then onto Route 30 Into Manchester, to stop for lunch at the Depot Cafe Restaurant. I would then circle back to Middlebury, heading north on Route 30. I can’t do this again, but watching this evoked many memories. Thank you for sharing!

I love these memories of Vermont. I've done those roads a number of times over the years in every season. Every time I say "this is the prettiest season"

This was last year. It was in late September- those colors should be coming out very soon

This was actually my last one from last year. This was late September about halfway up the state. You'll be a little further north so you might get some foliage but mostly green
