Random girl aka the girl with the red backpack, was homeless at this time. EVERYTHING she owned in the whole world was in her backpack, which she wore all the time. She and her mother slept in a fire station where they had to leave before it opened in the morning. She sang in malls on karaoke machines hoping to discovered. After this 'random girl' was discovered on youtube ,she appeared on the Ellen show, then was signed with EMI International for a record deal. Happy ending.

This is still the best live performance of zendee that was captured in video, i'm not talking about the quality of the recording, although it was shot with only a phone camera you can still appreciate the power in her voice. But what i'm talking about is the emotion that she poured in this song, you can hear it quite clearly in the quality in her voice, the angst.. and you can see it in her body language, the anger.. i never get tired of viewing this video because of that, i know that zendee is a very nice person but hopefully she will make some video with the same kind of emotion that she did with this one.. tnx much

One of the better renditions of this song I've heard. Personally, I feel it's better than Jennifer Hudson's version especially if recorded in the proper setting. I've also heard the version of Louisa Johnson in UK XFactor, this one is just much better. Zendee is really good at singing. She literally, started from the bottom. Her debut in Ellen DeGeneres show was not just because of her performance shown above, it's the product of her hard work and perseverance. I know because we're from the same town and I saw her make her way up.
