    We have done 5 e brake recalls in our dealer shop and noticed the same issue. Multiple times bleeding and vacuum bleeding did nothing. Best fix we found was to adjust the brake rod between the brake pedal and master cylinder.

    I had the E brake installed a month ago, came back with trans shifter out of alignment and shitty brakes. I just got it back yesterday. @Karnsmotorsports have my brakes working like factory before the e brake install and trans adjusted properly. They went through 2 bottles of brake fluid to get them correctly. My dealer does have my back. This 950 is my 2nd machine, no real problems yet. I have 20 hours of trail riding and no overheat issues

    Hey Steve, I have a 2023 Zforce as you know already and did not know about recall..she stops on a dime but the e-brake hold is not the greatest, maybe if I did not forget to disengage while backing off trailer a few times probably didn't help either.....That's cuz I smoke too much weed!🤗 It does hold and I'm not letting any dealership or mechanic touch my toy🤨.......except maybe you 😁. Thanks for the heads up. Funny, I did not jump a pin on seatbelt so the low gear limiter does not kick in if unbuckled. I put a 5point harness in before I watched your video and don't remember what I did but it does not kick in

    First of all, i love this machine, and i applaud cfmoto for listening to is customers to do something about the initial problem. But i have the same issue with the e brake kit installed, brakes are not the same as they used to be, haven't taken it out yet with new brakes but i bleed the the hell out of the when i got it back with premium fluid and its minimaly better, found no air in the system. As for the people say buy a better machine, even your top of the line 30k, 40k, 50k machines all have problems to, didn't like those machines, nor could i afford one.

      I’m with you. They fixed one problem and created another for us. It would have been better left untouched for sure. I agree this is like my 15th CFMOTO machine we absolutely enjoy them however we have seen CFMOTO come from craaap quality to awesome quality and then doing stuff like this. They are too focused on bringing out new models every year. If they would just focus on the problems the previous models had they would be far better units and too be honest I would pay an extra 1000$ more if it meant these 2 issues I have be gone.

    I just took my 1st ride after the ebrake install. I told the dealer make sure the pedal feels the same. They did above and beyond trying to bleed them. Pedal still went to the floor. 20 mile ride today about half way through I had almost no brakes. Headed home and the right rear caliper blew fluid everywhere! And no I did not leave the ebrake on. I have seen a few posts talking about overheating on the g2. I have the same model and it has not gotten past 4 bars. If it was software you'd think it would be the same for every model. Maybe a difference in temp sensors between build dates. I also had the e break installed, It is noticeably softer but not to the extent of yours. It takes considerable pressure to depress it to the floor. Breaks still seem to grab fine when I need them.

    Here’s the thing and we can use your smaller rotor example. You get what you pay for. Now don’t get me wrong I love my 23 Uforce 1000. However, I was on the fence over a CAN HAM in order to avoid some of these miscellaneous issues. What makes CF MOTO so popular is their price to quality differential which is GREAT… but it comes with flaws. The second we get those bigger rotors and better calipers we the consumers will pay for those better components. I have a love hate relationship with mine.

    I sat in a '24 on the lot with ebrake and it felt like mine used to feel. Best i can tell we need a bigger master cylinder and distribution block, or bigger master cylinder and new front calipers that are designed to match the ones that came with the e brake kit. (Same piston size). I wonder if we took the master cylinder and front calipers off a 24 if that would fix things. I havnt gone as far as tracking down 24 part numbers, but it could be an option.

"Gen 2" and they go BACKWARDS?? Just like on the 2021 uforce 1000's with the speedo calibration off. Wonder what an auxiliary temp gauge would show?

    This is what I sort of expected based on what the internets seemed to be saying, so for now I will stay with the pedal hook style "e-brake". I had hoped that after it came back from the dealer if it was crap, you would be going through it, to see if it was installer error or absolutely design error. I have read a few reports of e-brake installed rigs with actual properly working brakes, but many of them seemed to have had knowledgeable owners that knew what needed to be done better than the dealers in order to get to that point. Unfortunately yours seems to be even worse than what usually is reported.

      My thing is I put allot of time and money in the brakes of the XL to make it stop better I’m not doing it for this. It’s time CFMOTO steps up and figures it out. I bleed them tonight and it didn’t change a thing.

      I just called my dealer and gave him a piece of my mind. The way I look at it is, you are selling this machine so it's on you also. He talked like " oh well, that's all we can do, we installed the way cf Moto said". Told him I'm stuck with a brand new machine that I can't trust the brakes on. I'm not happy. After owning a Teryx, I took a chance on one of these. Didn't even really use it yet and this shit is going on. DISAPPOINTED

    Hi I have a 2023 Z FORCE 950 Sport. My dealer here in Canada is a flake. Really considering the 6hr drive to you if need be. I am glad I just installed the brake thing on my pedal instead of pleading to get the calipers .In Canada they do not care about us and will not upgrade the 2023s anyway. My question to you is what is with the belt cover vent for air out doing so low and open. Seems a poor design just waiting to take in all kinds off debris and water. I upgraded to the cf moto factory snorkles and laughed when i saw the belt air out was left unprotected. Had to run abs pipe myself to cure that weak spot on the design. Dealer said it was designed that way to cool the exhaust pipe it blows on. what a load of B.S.

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance  6 месяцев назад

      You won’t have any problems with the at all. You will actually have more problems with the snorkel then leaving it stock. Snorkels don’t flow enough air to keep the CVT cool. Nothing will get in there because of the CFM of air moving out. Keeps everything out.

    • @richardcollins7351
      @richardcollins7351 6 месяцев назад

      Thanks but I do alot of deep water crossings and so far got about 600miles on it now with my own snorkle on there. If the motor stalled out while crossing I would be a dead duck. Love your brutal honesty .Keep it up!@@R.N.GPerformance

    I hope CFMOTO won't go down the KUBOTA path and start making more and more "fancy" but flimsy models that no one can afford. I've wanted to buy a Kubota RTV for a farm but not if I have to pay 35K for it. Kubota has COMPLETELY lost its mind and has priced itself out of the market. So CF-MOTO KEEP IT SIMPLE, CHEAP AND ROBUST, FFS!!

    Regardless if it was mud causing the overheat . These things are an off road vehicle and meant to be put through mud and bottom line is IT SHOULD NOT OVERHEAT FROM GOING THROUGH MUD !! If the radiator is getting mud all over it then there is a design flaw . A little mud should be expected if someone is in front of you is slinging mud but never to the point that it over heats .

    Hey brother I feel your pain but to be clear and honest CF Moto is CF Moto You can't polish a turd. If you want something economical but at a better value, I recommend buying a Segway villain either 64 or 72 in. They are far superior, more power the handling is next level they seem to be dependable and I think iyou will be much happier with them. I have a Segway villain, had a little brake issues, to be honest but that's fixed but mechanically, ergonomically and performance-wise it will slaughter any CF Moto out there at this point. So do yourself a favor, get rid of the CF Moto put it in your rear view mirror and just by a Segway villain You won't regret it!

      I was going to get one but every dealer I talk with that sells them are warning me to stay away from them because they have all said basically the same things the company is super hard to work with when it comes to getting parts and warranty stuff. So I feel as if it would be a great machine until it breaks then it would be a headache. So right now I’ve decided to back off of one and not pull the trigger.
