I know Donna and danced in New York in a presentation you made, if I remember correctly in Studio 54. An unforgettable show. We were a group of Argentine and met a group of Colombians who taught us to dance disco. It is the past .... nice souvenir. But the years pass ... today I am happy listening. Thank you

Era cedo demais - entre 19h30 e 20h, acho, e nem sei se haveria festa naquele dia, pois chegamos lá a pé e ao vento, vindos do Passo de Torres, para o acaso e não para o caso - a festa... Eu e o amigo Lamba (Sérgio Luis Nunes), passávamos por ali, numa pernada de buscas por aventuras próprias da nossa juvenilidade de 17/18 ou 19 anos de idade... O acesso estava aberto, sem catraca... Entramos e subimos a escadaria, curiosos e desconfiados, para conhecer o local... E, bah..., foi demais! Não tinha ninguém na pista de dança e ninguém nos abordou, mas o som e as luzes estavam a todo o vapor, tocando esta música e a I Feel Love... Ficamos ali, de pé, inebriados por aquela rajada de luzes piscantes, coloridas, fosforescentes e correntes, vindas de um globo espelhado, que girava, em conformidade com os sons e nos atropelaram os sentidos... Depois da imersão, um pouco antes de terminar a I Feel Love, saímos à rua e novamente sem sermos abordados por ninguém, mas completamente felizes e deslumbrados com o que havíamos presenciado e sentido. This was SO based on the sound of Dr. Buzzard's Savannah Band and the entire Latin contingent (Kid Creole, August Darnell ["There But For The Grace of God..."]. Corey Daye ("Cherchez La Femme") sang this kind of song beautifully. It's the sound of Big Band, and Summer's inclusion of it on this album never fails to make my face light up like a 1000 watt bulb.
I honestly think the way this "classically" sounding song combined with a danceable beat was ahead of it's time when produced and released. It's still "new" to me today...THANKS for posting, and I have listened to this countless times... :-)
