Hello Rich. Thanks very much for your video. After watching this vid, I replaced the blower fan in my 2016 Sonata 2.0t ultimate. Easy peasy! I used an 8mm socket to remove the 3 nuts. The OEM from Hyundai was $375 and I picked up an aftermarket unit at Napa for $160 :-) Now there no more squeaky noise when I turn on the fan.
Local shop quoted me $390 to replace the blower motor on my daughters 2014 Sonata SE for what looks like a 30 minute job so I decided to do it myself. Do you have the part number or Amazon link so I can order the blower? Thanks in advance sir, your video was very helpful.
Richie, I have a 2015 Sonata 2.0 Limited/Sport and my A/c will blow then slow wayyy down and I can hear what sounds like the blower making a noise when it slows down. Is this what I have to replace? It still blows cold as snow but like I said it must be the blower and it doesn't do it all the time of course it acts up when it's hot a hell here in New Orleans!
I great video my blower is not working there for my heat or AC is not working. Do you think because the blower is not working that will not make the AC power on
my friends car is having this same issue. But his blower motor stops altogether. The AC compressor still works and turns off at the AC control. But the blower stops working. I checked the fuses as they are all fine. When i remove and reconnect the blower motor relay, the blower works again. I’ve already replaced the blower motor relay, and still does this same thing. I have seen a lot of talk on the internet about this same issue with this car. Anyone had luck in fixing this issue?

If the noise is below the glove box area then I would say yes

Blower and compressor doesn’t better check power supply
@@richierock1300 thanks much
Are these covered under the warranty? My 19 Sonanta has 66,000 miles on it
Doesn’t hurt to call the dealer
My 17 sonata fan blows erratically. Hi n low any suggestions b4 I take it our?
If you have all your speeds I’d replace the blower
@richierock1300 that's what I was hoping. Car has 340k miles.

Replace the blower motor yes
@@richierock1300 i replaced the blower motor with the same Bosch brand blower motor and it still does the intermittent on and off
Did you inspect the connection at the blower resistor to see if it’s melted
I have to go back and check. According to the parts store, the 2020 sonata does not have one
