My sincere appreciation for this tutorial. The rear right indicator stopped working and my work timings and dependant on driving a lot in the city for work was getting to be inconvenient to go to a mech and change the bulb. For anyone watching make sure you get an amber coloured bulb. The thumbnail shows a clear bulb. You would only use a clear bulb if the shade cover covering the bulb was amber itself - but since it’s clear you need an amber coloured bulb by law.

Thank you for this. The Hyundai dealer wants $35 to replace it. And $7.50 each per (1156A) bulb if you buy from them. I got 2 at Walmart for $4.88.

Guys- You warn us about dropping back behind the light, - I didn’t drop the nut, I dropped the socket- how do I get the liner/carpet up to get it? Another video please? It’ll be the first, I can’t find this anywhere! I have a 2012 Elantra.

Try a magnet some auto parts stores will have a telescoping rod with a magnet on the end if it's far down enough
