Mustang and Camaro look nothing like their originals. The Challenger actually looks like the old school Challenger.

Its crazy how they marketed the scheme of transitioning the 2 door coupe charger muscle car into a 4 door family vehicle to later on bring the 2 door challenger in to still appeal to the “true muscle car” enthusiasts...getting product to wider range of consumers....VERY simple, VERY smart!

The Dodge Challenger, past or present, has NEVER been a “pony car”! Pony cars are compact cars with big engines. The Mustang and Camaro fit that description. The Challenger has always been a full-sized two-door sedan, and classic muscle car! 💪🏿

I have a 2013 SRT-8 Challenger and absolutely love it. I specifically got the Challenger because my kids are teenagers now, so I bought myself a muscle car to make up for the one I sold when we had our youngest "93 Z-28" and my SRT-8 would eat my old Z-28 in a race.

If Dodge made a Scat Pack Redeye then it would probably have the almighty 426 Gen III Hemi V8 making well over 600 HP.
LMFAO, first off, Scat Packs aren't SRT's, so that will NEVER happen, and Second, putting a 426 in a Production Challenger will kill Hellcat sales, so it wouldn't make any sense
MoparFam 300C it would make sense though.. considering they used to make a SRT 392 which has the same engine as the scatpack.

Which is more reliable or are they about the same? I like the look of the challenger more but my 2 year old challenger already has window issues. It’s supposed to automatically roll up and down when you open and close the door and it just stopped working.

I had a srt8 and it was so fun, I was deciding between my Porsche for fun and the demon but I went for the Porsche and I don’t regret it but It would also be very fun to own the demon

Chargers are aerodynamically faster than challengers at the same engine levels. They also weigh less. The charger is definitely the better performance car. It’s also very practical. A lot of people are ignorant and think it’s slower because it has 4 doors.
It is slower and heavier. More aerodynamic maybe since it’s compared to a brick. Definitely heavier 4291~ for an R/T charger and 4182~ for a challenger. Got the weight directly from dodge’s website. That added weight is because of the 4 doors. Ignorance definitely plays a part when you’re trying to convince yourself one thing is better than another.

@@JinKazoomer Top speed is based on how strong the chassis is built to handle the forces exerted on it. Obviously the vehicle that has added structural rigidity (due to the added doors) will have a higher top speed. if you were speaking about top speed before it wasn't clear. With mentions of weight (assumed weight advantage) and aerodynamics. Other than that stuff most of what you said is true. It definitely is faster with a higher top speed. Not someone who typically follows mopar so I check before I write something out. No need to fret just letting you know facts from the manufacturers website so you can edit your initial statement about weight and added doors being the reason "ignorant people don't buy one over the other". Any particular reason you felt the need to add "Keep crying bud" instead of stating where you got the claimed top speed from. I'm always interested in learning more about muscle cars as my family has some from dodge, chevy and ford. I legitimately could not find any article on or off of dodge's website of the top speeds you mentioned.
@@Niugnep I’m not even hating on the challenger, it’s a sick car, I’m just tired of all these people slandering the Charger for something as stupid as how many doors it has and calling it a “family sedan” when that’s not what the car was made for or even marketed as. It’s a muscle car.
@@JinKazoomer they’re both cool. 2 of my brother in laws have one each. A challenger hellcat and a charger hellcat. One of my cousins has a ZL1 camaro. I’m the only one with a run of the mill with a Mustang GT have it modified to the point I beat them all. The charger definitely is better and more practical compared to the other 3. There is no way any of them compete. I’ve driven them both charger rides better. They’re some of the cars I’m looking to swap into in a few years. Definitely do get the family sedan. Always hear that one when I’m with my BIL. Still smokes the cars it races. I see that as a badge of honor. I like the crazy Durango srt hellcat for the same reason. Not every vehicle can manage what those do especially with the amount of space and options they offer for the price. The few that do are well over double the price

It is not completely too hard to put a manual in. If you want to stay oe the tunnel has to be slightly modified where there is a plate on the side of the tunnel. And then obviously the computers are different. But a little and you can put an aftermarket one in.

Sorry but...I thought the video was about cars....I am all about seeing competent people doing what they are good at but why did they not find someonw else who's competent to race her, even another girl. He even says he's a novice at this. So the charger completely got under represented and this female driver got an empowerment video? Is there only one decent track driver there? And why did the driver's not switch cars so you could see if the performance difference was the drivers or actually the cars? This video was a real bunt of a victory lap for that female driver when it could have been about the cars. They didn't even get new cars from the same year. And this is edmund and carmax when individual content creators can do that much.

It is slightly slower than the challenger because it is a shorter wheelbase even though they are on the same platform.
