I love that the last part wasn't scripted and Niles just decided to make fun of him

@@shellyt556there’s no might with that, Grammer flubbed the line and Pierce capitalized on the mistake while staying in character.

ACTUALLY, According to TV Tropes, the "Flasier" thing was not scripted and was an accident by Kelsey Grammer. (his co-star rolled with it).

Hahaha the 'Flasier' was clearly a flub on Kelsey's part as you can see him smile immediately after, but it's brilliant that DHP just goes along with it and makes fun of him

If the Flasier thing was truly an honest mistake and not scripted at all, then kudos to both for running with it and not breaking character cos it makes this clip even funnier.

What makes it better is the way David Hyde Pierce says it sounds exactly like the way a younger sibling would tease an older sibling, it really sells it perfectly.

I also think it is funny that Niles points out how Frasier gets fixated on tiny imperfections but he himself cannot resist the temptation to point out Frasier’s mistake. I hear it was ad-libbed but it ends the exchange perfectly. I wonder what the original joke was supposed to be.
