  • This video describes the vasomotor center, followed by three mechanisms which help in short term regulation of blood pressure.
    The baroreceptor reflex, the chemoreceptor reflex and the CNS Ischemic response.

    Sir vasodilator and vasoconstrictor centres are locate in NTS or vasomotor centre???will you explain these location

      Hi there, GUYTON says - "Located bilaterally in medulla & pons is an area called vasomotor centre & experiments have made it possible to identify 3 areas in this centre - vasoconstrictor area, vasodilator area & sensory area (located in tractus solitarius in medulla )
