Pontus is the man! Great game. Bear seems like a cool new addition, and how do you not love Rhetoric? With Mons tying it all together, this is still my favorite MtG channel.

Blue Farm player could have baby (Cyclonic) rifted something to add to the storm count, and that would have made the Flusterstorm too expensive for Mons to pay.
YES! This is true cast it before he cast fluster. Would kinda have been same outcome but yes he kinda should have done that.
In deed, as I was re-watching the game I realize I could've done that. The final outcome would've been the same in this particular instance, however I should've done it and MAYBE I could have gotten another turn.

Heliod is my favorite deck to play lately. I don’t win a lot, but when I do it’s soooo fun and everyone is amazed lol

Very cool line that Pontus used to go off after Bear had died. I didn't realize that when a player dies, the game still progresses through the remaining phases in their turn. Love the game, love to see Heliod do its thing!

Narset wouldn’t have been able to cast Rhystic from the graveyard since narset say “Less than” and of equal to. He will have to cast at least one spell and trigger narset to make him a 4 power for Rhystic
He did; he cast Git Probe in his first main phase.

My spicy suggestion is:
Consider adding gisela blade of goldnight
Narset prowess is no joke
Obviously we’re on turbo breach.
But like you’re saying in the video prowess gets out of control quickly and double damage with Gisela GG
gisela blade of goldnight is a bit expensive. So much mana. I also don't know if I need it. We alredy punch kinda good. and the plan is turbo breach first. adding this could hurt that plan A.
But yes narsets prowes is no joke.

My playgroup doesn't play cEDH, but more of a high power EDH stuff and I built a Narset Token-Punch deck.

I think the prowes on all creatures is kinda cool. I was starting to keel people with just beatdown there actually.

When pontus was deciding if he was gonna feed the fish.. I was thinking. You know what you are gonna do! Feed it! hahaha. But it worked out!!
Seriously.. I have burned a few times with not feeding the fish because the next player wheels. It's hard to decide.

I actually have full non proxy selvala and yuriko (old versions havent been updated for ages) and have cards for yisan if I dismantle selvala. There is only 1 lgs in my country and it's like the pink blob meme of never again I'd you go play any format there

Question if it was technically bears death step and Pontus flashed in defense grid, don’t his spells still cost an additional 3 because it’s not actually his turn? Not really a problem here but just interesting.

Playing the wheels and stuff after the player died and before the other players turn is highly ilegal, he should've done so before the lightning bolt and risk the player drawing into a counter to the bolt, you simply can't "ok now that he's dead but still in his turn"
No the turn still keeps going. The turn just dosen't end when a player dies.

This isn't true. And so many times I have to explain this rule in live games. I think people get confused cause when a player dies everything own is instantly exiled even on the stack.
BUT
If a person dies on their turn. Their turn STILL HAPPENS. It goes through all the phases.
The rule that explains this is
800.4i
If a player leaves the game during their turn, that turn continues to its completion without an active player. If the active player would receive priority, instead the next player in turn order receives priority, or the top object on the stack resolves, or the phase or step ends, whichever is appropriate.
104.5 explains that losing the game is the exact same thing as leaving the game. Which then points to rule 800.4 on what happens then. (I had someone try to say they aren't the same thing)

I am kinda sceptic to.
Blue farm player could have cast Cyclonic Rift to add to storm then Flusterstorm then Mons couldn't pay the cost. Also I don't think it was fair or right to target him out of the game as he was already pretty hurt. They deserve to lose to Heliod as Mons did not have proper threat assessment. Should have left the Blue farm player alive to possibly assist. Pretty sure Mons screwed this game up.
