My family and I are staying in Chiba for ten days next April. My wife and I are going to Star Wars Celebration for all three days and we have Disneyland, the zoo, sea world and some other things planned with the whole family. Your video has definitely given me some great ideas!
I hopefully will be going to Yokohama to visit a good friend. I was looking at the cities near Yokohama and found Chiba. My cat , Pantera (rip) had a lot of nicknames. One of them was Jiba. Chiba is close enough, so I want to visit.
This was great! I've been doing some research on where would be the best place for me personally to live in Japan and I haven't seen too many detailed or helpful videos, but this video was extremely helpful in my research! ❤️
excellent video I love your "travel tip" vids as I hope to visit japan and I will use some of the info to help me plan and enjoy the country more Thanks again
Hi Ozzy. You are really awesome! I enjoyed your Chiba video very much, and agree with your number one choice: Mother Earth!! I really loved that place, and can't wait to visit again. The cookies and the cheeses I bought there were excellent. Thank you for sharing and stay safe.
That is so true! We may not realise when they are in Chiba sometimes. I remember going to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea with my family when I was young, because of it's name, I always thought it was part of Tokyo. Pretty sure we went to Chiba Park, shrine and castle too as part of a tour. Strange how I've even said I've never been to Chiba when I get asked, then after moving to Japan, had my mind blown because I've been to Chiba several times XD Another great video Ozzy!
Your T-shirt🤣😂 Thank you for always making me laugh 😂 And thank you for picking up Chiba. It’s my town so I’m happy 😉and! I’m in your video!! I miss surfing with Maple 😌
It really depends on how comfortable you wanna be but I would say not including hotel and flight, plan for about 15,000 yen a day for 3 meals and transportation and miscellaneous costs.
1. Narita-san - double yes! ... 2. Chiba Castle is, um,... I guess a good place for elementary school field trips (^_^) 3. Chiba Park, triple yes! especially the lotus garden,... in June it's absolutely beautiful,... 4. Nokogiri-yama,... (errr, actually many statues were trashed during the early Meiji Era) 5. Chiba Zoo is really nice,... don't pet the goats, they really stink! 6. Kamogawa,... did you notice the beaches around here tend to be a little, um, littered? *. I always wanted to go to Sawara but it's just too far away for a comfortable day trip. [full disclosure: my flat is kind-of-sort-of near the monorail Sakusabe station]
@@ozzy78 I think you'll make an awesome video if you go! (^_^) I wanna watch it! ... there's also Nishi-Chiba but it's, um, completely boring (^_^) ... The station is said to be built on the site where criminals were executed during Edo times,... so the pine trees there are supposed to be haunted by the dead souls,... I guess, I don't know ... (^_^)
Really disappointed you put Seaworld in there. No one should be promoting the capture and mis treatment of dolphins and orca. I suggest your viewers do some research as to how these poor creatures were obtained and the awful conditions they are forced to spend their lives in before visiting this place

We stayed at an Airbnb in Chiba during our first trip to Japan. Loved the quietness. Waiting till I can visit Japan again.
How much is the Airbnb for a 3 weeks or a month?
@@Amara.Bayarm it was like $23-35 dollars a night at the Airbnb we stayed at. Of course it was two of us. So if you r by your self it’s the lower end.
@@mechcam796 That's sounds good price. Thank you for your reply and information Xx
@@Amara.Bayarm there were a lot around that price even closer to Tokyo just check Airbnb website. Hopefully they will open back up in the near future.

There's also a lot of tokusatsu filming locations in Chiba, and it was also where the church used in episode 2 of Kamen Rider Kuuga was.

Thanks for witching!
Thank you for making this! I really liked Chiba but I don't see many people talking about it
Planning to visit January 2023 to attend an event at the Makuhari. How much spending would one need if staying only in and around Chiba City area?

Amazing!✌️
Sorry everyone for my super bad filming in the Narita temple/traditional street area.
Lol
Something better then nothing hey!!!👍
Wow so much to do! Where to start?? I love these suggestions 😊
That is a great introduction for Chiba! Thanks for sharing. Do you have a plan to make an introductory video for Funabashi?
Good idea. I will look into it!

Lol. Ah, the covid filled havens are unfortunately not in Chiba. Haha.
Can the beach area be accessed by train?
Yes. You can walk from the Onjuku station on the JR line to the beach about 10 minutes.

How easy is it for travellers who don't want to use a car to do all those things?
I went to all those places by train, bus or walking so you don't need a car for any of them.

Thumbs down for sea world.
To each their own.
