    Most hanfu designers can make the measurements bigger but don't necessarily know how to tweak things to fit right for bigger bust or plus size. So this brand is a blessing.

    Actually this type can combat the problem with fat acceptance which both Asian and western countries still suffer. Tang dynastys Chubbiness is like the renaissance fashion.

      @@cpa314 True. So now, Chinese (especially young generations) are really focused on saving their rich culture back. You will see Chinese wear Hanfu (a type of traditional cloth wear by the Han-Chinese people) during special occasions and holidays. You will see TV shows promote history and culture of the ancient Chinese like 《国家宝藏》。。。 So stay modernized and ancient at the same time!

      Use a shopping service website to buy from taobao. They gather all your orders and then ship it to your house in a box.

    • @angelabby2379
      @angelabby2379 3 года назад

      not really 🤣 in painting they have chubby face but still skinny to plump body so its hypocritical
      they like plump face with skinny body
      and in song dynasty or late tang dynasty they actually going back to skinny trend again
      fyi late tang and song is when u have elaborate hanfu with logn sleeves opulence hairstyle etc

    • @morbidmistress5602
      @morbidmistress5602 3 года назад

      Only in mid-Tang. Early-Tang and late-Tang still preferred skinny.

    Just like ANY trend in Fashion, you either have an eye for Hanfu, & can wear it well. Or you don't. Ao Luojia SLAYS it.
    Unfortunately the majority of the millennials in China involved in the Hanfu movement don't. They have NOT studied Chinese art, Chinese fashion history, or modern dressmaking, or are simply not that committed. It's like the worst cosplay with the ugliest, cheapest fabrics. Might as well stick to wearing crap from H&M.

    • @bdugan7640

      @@alexwang2419 At least men aren't wearing those dreadful, polyester leisure suits of the past. If you want to see some dreadful historical men suits of the past, look up pigeon-breasted suits of the American Civil War time. Stuffed with wool in the chest to give the pouter pigeon look. After one hot summer at the beginning of the Civil War, the stuffing was gone! Sometimes I miss the simplicity of early Medieval garb. But in the SCA (Society For Creative Anachronism), depending on the weather I wore either simple linen Greek/Roman cotton cythons or Han Chinese peasant. I think someone might sell out at Pennsic if they had a hanfu garb booth. Especially if it was reasonably priced.
