Washington and his men were starving and freezing at valley forge on the brink of defeat and only survived because the oneidas broke thru the blockade and rescued them bringing food blankets and supplies to get them back on their feet.

The video simplifies things avoiding many of the complexities and much of the politics. How was it that Washington was considered to be the congressional commander for the Army? Where did the weapons that were suspected of being hidden in Lexington and Concord come from? Why did only 13 colonies assemble and revolt? What was going on in Vermont with the governors of NY and NH each chattering towns in that territory? This video doesn’t even discuss the attempted revolt by Army officers against Congress during the war.
