God, these car commercials are getting worse and worse. Earlier it was only important performance statistics that were missing and now you don't even tell me how much it costs.
I love be it shows it blowing up a drones, considering this thing costs like $50 mil and can now be taken out by a switchblade drone that’s like $6,000. $50 mil divided by $6000 leaves only 8,333 more drones for the same cost, for this thing to shoot out of the sky! I bet it can’t even do it 10 times, much less 100 or 1000, much less, over 8 thousand times. While it’s shooting at the one drone, the other 100 will blast it to bits, at a fraction of the cost!
A LAV-III/6 which is the original vehicle of the Stryker, they both cost around 4-5 millions. Not 50 millions, an Abram isn't even worth this much, 12 millions. 50 millions is aircraft territory. The switchblade that is worth 6k isn't the one that can take out a vehicle, but the principle as always been the same. A Javelin that cost 120k taking out a APC / IFV, a 20k drone taking out a vehicle. Doesn't render them obsolete, you still need them.
