I agree with other comments...this is my favorite look I've seen from the Darth Vader palette. I've heard some negatives about the red shade but it looks stunning in this combo!! Loving your "out of comfort zone" looks!! 😍
I’m on a 6 month (at least) no buy and I’m loving that project for me. AND I really really want to try all these new foundations. The CT and NARS especially. I got a sample of the NARS and it was glorious but it was only one day’s worth of product and I need longer than that to check out a foundation.

I’m absolutely obsessed with that new make up forever foundation. I have a different skin type than you so maybe it won’t work for your skin but for me it is heaven.

I do have a normal skin type so it might be fine, but IDK now! I'm leaning towards more liquidy/serum foundations now, and it just looked quite thick in your video. I love your reviews & videos! I got a sample of the new MU Forever and love it. I have oily skin with surface dehydration. If I don’t use a good moisturizer to get rid of the surface dehydration it looks horrible but when I use a good moisturizer, I love it! It is more natural/matte which is what most oily skin gals go for, I feel.
I agree! I’m oily/combo and I use a good moisturizer and it looks good on my skin. Definitely something I can see if you have dry skin, it would not look great

I didn't know bodyweight and resistance band exercises were so much more difficult than normal gym exercises. Just started them and they are kicking my butt. Pretty sure I would die with your version of pilates. Lol.
I think the O/S BBB is more in line with your makeup preferences as of late and you would like it better than the MUF HD but with so many new foundations on the market it’s all just a little much and we’re almost back into skin tint season so I’m not sure it’s worth the spend unless you really want it!
Hi Samantha, the Y325 is the shade name of the one they discontinued for this new one. The other version has been my holy grail for years so I was really upset that I bought several several backups. I have mature dry skin with fine lines/wrinkles and this new one is just as good as the discontinued version. Does not settle into my lines/wrinkles. I went to their website and got a smaller bottle to try before buying the big one, it was $22. I tried it with the Tatcha liquid primer, CT flawless filter and the Smashbox regular primer and they all worked on my skin.
I tried this foundation. I had high hopes that this would be the one that made me OK with using regular foundation and no one longer needing to buy luxury foundation. I was sadly mistaken it sucked all of the life out of my skin. And I just have to live with what works for me
I’m curious… it’s your career that requires makeup halls and regular purchases. Is there a budget that you work with as part of these business expenses. Maybe this is a boring topic for some. I’m a finance person so while I love makeup as a hobby, my mind is always fascinated by the career and details that as an entrepreneur you may need to face.
definitely needs to be a budget! I've talked about it quite a bit over the years because when first starting i put myself into a massive debt trying to keep up. now ive learned more about budgeting and accepting i cant be the channel that reviews everything asap because i cant afford it!

I have the light Ofra powder and it’s a bit too shiny for me for a full face finishing powder. I wish I had gotten the medium as it looks beautiful on you. But I would go in at the end to finish your look. I think you used it more as a setting powder. I do however LOVE it on the decolletage area.
thats the first foundation that looks truly natural on you giving you "my skin but better" look. the face powder really messed it up and made it shiny and emphasised all the pores and dryness...
Tarte complexion products are some of the only ones my skin seems to like these days. I prefer the creaseless concealer. My skin is super dry and I’m in a dry climate area. It’s nice and hydrating!
I'm on the cusp of getting rid of all my blushes and only sticking with Rare beauty liquid blush. I love the formula and how easy it is to blend it out.
As somebody who lives in Arizona now I really appreciate your foundation reviews. The dry skin is real from moving to somewhere so hot & dry. Crazy how big of a difference it makes on our skin! Also, in the nicest way possible, that finishing powder did you dirty. I think it would be a pretty highlighter though 😂💜also, love the eye look. So unique and cool. You also have the prettiest green eyes ever what the heck. My brown poop eyes are jealous lol

I too have dry mature skin and it works beautifully on me, I use a glowy primer, I tried the Tatcha silk canvas primer, the CT primer and the Smashbox primer and it worked with all of them. Hope this helps.

I’m not a fan of the Natasha lipstick. I’m picking up the makeup by Mario one released at the same time in the other two colors though. That Tarte concealer is one of my favorites.
Dry skin makes makeup so difficult concealer i have to add a drop of serum even the most hydrating formulas. And i use Charlotte Tilbury eye cream. I wish all the manufacturers would pay attention to us dry skinnfoljs

Wow, that eye look really sets off your green eyes! I am disappointed to hear the Ofra powder seems to have a overspray. I was sort of interested in that one but after seeing it apply it looks a bit like a soft highlight all over the face and I am not sure that's the look I am going for. Thanks for trying all theses products to help me make decisions.
Watching you out this foundation on and. I completely agree with you. It’s a very odd finish like it sank in but didn’t do much besides making you look dry. I’ve seen some beautiful foundations on you recently. Not sure this one is it. Thanks for reviewing it. It does look matte so I’m happy I skipped it. Your skin looks amazing though. You can tell the work you put in in paying off. the concealer and the eyes are beautiful. Outside your comfort zone but looks great on you. Mascara looks awesome too. I may have to pick that up. Essence discontinued my favorite mascara (work it waterproof)
the makeup forever foundation is not the best for dry skin. i soooo luckily got it in influenster and i have combo skin and it’s been working reallllly well for me. we have the same shade and it looks completely different on me. i’ve been obsessed with that milani mascara for months now. there’s been different highly rated mascaras before, but this one is the best. the iconic london duo is stunning and the ND lipstick combo is as well. i’m definitely going to get the darth vader colourpop palette because i love cool tones. ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for the review Sam. The make-up forever really did make your skin look dry & not Dewey & I have seen your skin glow for the most part with most your foundations. The all over powder is tooo luminous it also just added the spot light on unwanted areas m. For me best all over face powders is Hourglass ⌛️. Darth Vader said to Luke Skywalker.....'Luke I am your father *cues heavy breathing but not too much to think I am blowing in your ear*. 🤣 Seriously I was in my Diability Assist ride yesterday and he brought up having to get his dog put down. I shared my girl Feral feline, who was indoor raised by me for 15 years. She is in Stage 2 Kidney failure. I was talking how we are cleaning up at least 2x a day. I taught her she can use her crate and we line it with a doggie pee pad. She is on a special kidney diet. So he says to me...well do you want her to suffer? I said no but she will let me know when she is ready and if not and she gets worse than she is, that it was my call. He said I was not taking care of her because I am selfish for it. I said nothing and he kept going. I got home and sat on my bed and bawled for an hour just torn open inside. I filed a complaint so he learns to STFU! Anyone else could of really lashed her fury on him. I am above that. He won't do that again as I no longer want that driver even if he is the only that can do the rides. I don't need and honestly can't be made a Martyr when I am not. Sorry for the long boring comment. Just feel so raw and exposed right now.

Tip: if I have a lipstick that tugs or is too matte feeling, I apply lip balm before I put on the lipstick. It makes it easier to apply. :)

Dry skin makes makeup so difficult concealer i have to add a drop of serum even the most hydrating formulas. And i use Charlotte Tilbury eye cream. I wish all the manufacturers would pay attention to us dry skinnfoljs
I was so hoping to see you do the look from your makeup monthly! I can’t wear red or pink eyeshadow so I absolutely loved that look! Your short doesn’t really show the full eye look.

Wow, that eye look really sets off your green eyes! I am disappointed to hear the Ofra powder seems to have a overspray. I was sort of interested in that one but after seeing it apply it looks a bit like a soft highlight all over the face and I am not sure that's the look I am going for. Thanks for trying all theses products to help me make decisions.
Watching you out this foundation on and. I completely agree with you. It’s a very odd finish like it sank in but didn’t do much besides making you look dry. I’ve seen some beautiful foundations on you recently. Not sure this one is it. Thanks for reviewing it. It does look matte so I’m happy I skipped it. Your skin looks amazing though. You can tell the work you put in in paying off. the concealer and the eyes are beautiful. Outside your comfort zone but looks great on you. Mascara looks awesome too. I may have to pick that up. Essence discontinued my favorite mascara (work it waterproof)
the makeup forever foundation is not the best for dry skin. i soooo luckily got it in influenster and i have combo skin and it’s been working reallllly well for me. we have the same shade and it looks completely different on me. i’ve been obsessed with that milani mascara for months now. there’s been different highly rated mascaras before, but this one is the best. the iconic london duo is stunning and the ND lipstick combo is as well. i’m definitely going to get the darth vader colourpop palette because i love cool tones. ♥️♥️♥️

Thanks for the review Sam. The make-up forever really did make your skin look dry & not Dewey & I have seen your skin glow for the most part with most your foundations. The all over powder is tooo luminous it also just added the spot light on unwanted areas m. For me best all over face powders is Hourglass ⌛️. Nonetheless ; def will not be buying the foundation cause I’m also a dry skin girl so I know the struggle … Thanks for your honest reviews on products & until your next review beautiful 🤩 lady. Darth Vader said to Luke Skywalker.....'Luke I am your father *cues heavy breathing but not too much to think I am blowing in your ear*. 🤣 Seriously I was in my Diability Assist ride yesterday and he brought up having to get his dog put down. I shared my girl Feral feline, who was indoor raised by me for 15 years. She is in Stage 2 Kidney failure. I was talking how we are cleaning up at least 2x a day. I taught her she can use her crate and we line it with a doggie pee pad. She is on a special kidney diet. So he says to me...well do you want her to suffer? I said no but she will let me know when she is ready and if not and she gets worse than she is, that it was my call. He said I was not taking care of her because I am selfish for it. I said nothing and he kept going. I got home and sat on my bed and bawled for an hour just torn open inside. I filed a complaint so he learns to STFU! Anyone else could of really lashed her fury on him. I am above that. He won't do that again as I no longer want that driver even if he is the only that can do the rides. I don't need and honestly can't be made a Martyr when I am not. Sorry for the long boring comment. Just feel so raw and exposed right now.
