As the fellow above said, he’s in uniform he has a reputation to uphold and causing a scene by yelling in a restaurant isn’t just rude and impolite it’ll almost always draw the wrong kind of attention. Be considerate of the situation you find yourself in especially when you’re out with loved ones because how you act impacts how people view you and your partner, that’s just common sense.

I never put my husband in a situation he didn’t initiate though that’s outside my environment. Of my MAN I can say he has 0 tolerance for toxic and if the roles were reversed he says nothing. If I'm going off, my husband has been going off for 20 minutes already. He's much quicker to temper, but if I go off, he knows it's a big deal and he's going to let me do whatever and have my back. Choose your battles, so the big ones are easy wins.

I haven’t seen the movie, but if my husband is in the wrong, I’m not backing them up just because we are married. I will tell them so because that’s what a good spouse does because they’re not always right. If I was wrong, I’d want them to do the same for me. Being married doesn’t entitle you to be right all the time and it takes a lot more to stand up and say that they’re not right than just to roll with it because you’re married and want to avoid the situation.

It can be forgiven, but it cannot be kept (but that is my book, not an objective stance). But at that point, maybe forgiveness is unnecessary; what is there to forgive? He is nothing. But you don’t have to be rude to be inconsiderate, you don’t have to be “bad” to be disliked, you don’t have to be a terrible person to be undesirable (subjectively). Basically, my temper clashes with his, so I don’t like this character apart from as a third-party entertainment -at least going by this clip. I don't understand how anyone could love this movie. Yes, it probably was nice and all, but if you actually watched this, you'd see that SHE is selfish and put herself first before everyone else. She legit gets offended by everything, and if it wasn't about her, it didn't matter. When she lost her friend and he also lost his friend and wasn't able to walk, she thought her pain was greater and didn't even care about him. If I'm going off, my husband has been going off for 20 minutes already. He's much quicker to temper, but if I go off, he knows it's a big deal and he's going to let me do whatever and have my back. Choose your battles, so the big ones are easy wins.
It's best if you also pick your battles wisely it won't look good for your man when you get into and argument when you're in the wrong, granted it won't also look good if he does the same. But it's always good to support each other right or wrong but do some introspection after and talk.
I haven’t seen the movie, but if my husband is in the wrong, I’m not backing them up just because we are married. I will tell them so because that’s what a good spouse does because they’re not always right. If I was wrong, I’d want them to do the same for me. Being married doesn’t entitle you to be right all the time and it takes a lot more to stand up and say that they’re not right than just to roll with it because you’re married and want to avoid the situation.

Right after the other guy insinuates that he owns her in some way, he *tells* her to sit down. I would rather she have walked off. It’s one thing to request, but in that situation it is more like defiance to be told to “sit down”. That is not a personality I want proximity to. Obedience is an indulgence, not a right. To mistake that is preposterous and to use it irresponsibly to quell some pent up frustration is simply arrogance. It can be forgiven, but it cannot be kept (but that is my book, not an objective stance). But at that point, maybe forgiveness is unnecessary; what is there to forgive? He is nothing. Besides, it’s true that he was not rude. But you don’t have to be rude to be inconsiderate, you don’t have to be “bad” to be disliked, you don’t have to be a terrible person to be undesirable (subjectively).
Basically, my temper clashes with his, so I don’t like this character apart from as a third-party entertainment -at least going by this clip. And by that, I admit, my temper is probably no better than his, though certainly (hopefully) different. At the very least I hope I won’t do something that “proves” an insensible statement against a friend as true; that too, after said friend has just denied it. That’s no different from slapping their face (not literally; I t’s a saying from China where “face” is in reference to “honor” or “reputation” or something similar, like its use in the statement “give them face”).

I think that in the girl's perspective he was siding with his friend because he told her to sit down while the dicksh*t over the table kept saying "listen to your man" like some cocky asshole who thinks he won the argument. I don't understand how anyone could love this movie. Yes, it probably was nice and all, but if you actually watched this, you'd see that SHE is selfish and put herself first before everyone else. She legit gets offended by everything, and if it wasn't about her, it didn't matter. When she lost her friend and he also lost his friend and wasn't able to walk, she thought her pain was greater and didn't even care about him. The only time she showed maturity was towards the ending when he left. Throughout the movie, she was the most prideful, self-centered, egotistic, and most selfish person. 😂
