Jelly is someone that people sleeping on, he will hit you in soul, and make you feel your emotions.
So much! But people are sleeping on a lot of underground artists. It just how the shit be unfortunately.
Jelly is somebody who won't be alive very long for us to enjoy. He needs to dig deep, stop overeating & start exercising. The average age for obese ppl is 42. The heart cannot take it. Ever carry around 25, 50, 100 lbs, walking and doing everything else while carrying it? Same effect on your body/heart.

The first time I heard this song, I once again was at a bottom and at my age it felt like it was t the end. I had had crashed and burned, and suffered multiple times before. I didn't think it was possible for me to get up off the canvas.. And I heard this song, and I said to myself," Damn .. This dude wrote this song about my life."... I've come out of it recently, Thank God and , even though it isn't shown with finances, love, stability, security etc.... Liquor tried to kill me (pancreatitis after years of alcoholism) around halloween and i been on a road to sobriety since. Was at 2 months and slipped over the weekend, but ay those days clock up fast i'm back on that road.
But yeah, this song came out right when I needed to and I can't even count how many times I've heard it since. Some days multiple times. Hell, I just bumped it today on the way to the doctor...been rockin with Jelly for over a decade, and his evolution has been fuckin phenomenal. TBH if i had to choose my favorite in the game its him.

Lex, that commentary about your "hopes and dreams" being shattered was on point! Ive been dead center of the place Jelly wrote this song from and when everything shattered around me my path to freedom was revealed. I wasnt out of the weeds yet though. Actually, Tom and Nova gave me the inspiration and motivation I needed to become the true me through their music. The 3 of them combined saved my life no joke. Im clean and free and on a path to a fruitful career now

This is my jam.... The struggle to keep it together is real... The fight to keep going comes from the people you love, the things you love to do, and the sliver of hope you hold onto that there is something beautiful coming one day. Just many do not realize that the beauty of the ride is a whole other thing too. I believe this song is about not wanting to be the one that ruins the ride for others because we can't always keep it together.

He really turned his life around. He's a Gangster Disciple and was a dope dealer, did time for it but made a career out of his pain and really is just so powerful in his music. Went from gangster, drug dealing rap to this, man is so versatile.
Ok...I went ahead and subscribed. Brad ,man, I envy you and feel for you at the same time. That pretty lady next to you has her feelers tuned in at an atomic level floating around with electrons helping them figure out if they are negative or positive charged, so the universe can get on with its business. Its funny, when she explains the total randomness she feels, I understand almost immediately, but of course its because I know the songs I'm watching , and can point out why, while you still look at her dumfounded on what just came out of her mouth. It throws you off so bad, your gonna have to do a mash up of how many times you say, "I can't describe it!" Ya'll are magic. Really enjoy what you're doing. Thank you.

I believe Lex was onto something when she was talking about Rock Bottom being something we grow from. When we hit Rock Bottom it strips us to our core for us to grow again and become something that we made all the choices of but with more knowledge and appreciation for the smaller things and choices than we had before when we were building ourselves.
