How many times do I have to repeat myself The police are Ministry of Defence police as Horse Guards is a military barracks , their role is security and antiterrorism not crowd control though they do assist at change over for public safety reasons ! Outside the gates is a public street controlled by Westminster council not MOD , they have limited jurisdiction on the street inside the courtyard they can and do order people to leave and have a list of people banned from the premises including the infamous " Karen " !

Why does the UK permit the horses to be continually touched by strangers? Talk about Animal Abuse. I’m appalled this behavior is tolerated! Sad thing is, it’s controllable with just a sign, NO TOUCHING THE HORSES, like the one already posted saying, Don’t touch the reins. How hard can it be to just add ‘and Horses’ after the word ‘reins’? I find it too difficult to watch the daily harassment of the horses. I’ve decided to move on. It’s so disheartening!
People should not be allowed within certain limits with horses, if they can't or won't understand animals..sudden movements are seen in the animal kingdom as aggressive.
Children do not DISRESPECTFUL our guard and horse they are working where is the teacher to control their behaviour where is my favourite police woman she would have told them to move away she doesn't take any nonsense

Normally, a horse's breath is not a bad odor. It may have odor from what the animal was last eating. The color of the food often causes stains on the teeth.

A lot of the horses enjoy it. It's only an hour. They are curious to see all the people as the people are to see it.
