I recently traced my ancesty to the Morgan family, so this is somewhat of a treat for me. I can finally see where some of my ancestors lived. Thank you.

This was amazing to see, thank you for sharing this. I'm a direct descendant of the Seymour and all the way back to the Saint Maur's. They came over from France when the Norman's invaded. I live in Arizona USA, I've been doing my Genealogy for 25 years. I would love to visit the British Isles someday!

That's lovely to read Michelle. When I made this video during lockdown, I did wonder whether it would have any interest for viewers from outside the area. I'm so pleased that you have found it and that you've seen some of the landscape that you're directly descended from. I love backpacking and the Arizona Trail has been on my radar for some time. One day..........

I remember Magor well. Lovely part of the world. I also remember Llanwern Steelworks where I spent many years breathing in the healthy fumes of the Blast furmace.

This was really interesting. Being from the north of wales, we don’t really know much about the southern castles. We definitely want to know more and visit!! Thanks for sharing 🍻

You're very welcome indeed and thank you for watching. I put this short video together during the first Covid-19 lockdown when we were allowed out to exercise. I enjoyed focusing on what we have locally.

Nice walk, I think I've been to the bigger castle before ona circular walk a few years ago. Impressive building.

Pencoed is currently being renovated but thankfully the planning permission to turn it into an Alton Towers type place was rejected 25 years ago. You can see Penhow from the A48.

Thomas Morgan is my 13th Great Grandfather, I found this out through family ancestry and have all the documents to show for..

I love genealogy! A relative of my wife did some research on her mother's side of the family. Whilst I hail from poor illiterate people in West Wales, my wife's genealogy sees her directly descended from Llewellyn ap Grufydd!! Thanks for taking the time to comment on this short video!
