I know right? In the interviews, the director said (when they were crossing actors for his part), they knew he could play the part but the question was could he make Emily blush and giggle like a schoolgirl? And of course he does *swoon 😬😍😍😍
I wonder if Jane Austen would've seen any similarities between Trey and her character from 'Mansfield Park' Henry Crawford, and if she could if that would meant that she would be attracted to him or if that would mean she could see right through him - the character I mean
If he was inspired by Henry Crawford like I think he is he might not be the sort we'd want our heroine to end up with - for the simple reason that he can't be trusted
This is like Alec's body with Magnus's seductive attitude. Perfect combination. lol. Kevin Zegers is awesome, i like him in Its A Boy Girl Thing too, very funny n girly. But this is such a nice film, maybe i should really go read those books.
It shits me that they didn't end up together. I'm not gonna lie, their relationship was purely based on lust, but it was still better than any if the other storylines in the film. It probably was a bad message if they did fully have an affair. Damn it. It was so good.
Same as with Henry Crawford, Trey seems to have no need for play-acting, he'll act the flirt in rehearsal of a play and outside it. And what's more he'll do so for the same reason - his vanity. It amuses him to be starring opposite a girl he knows hopes to hook up with him, and it also amuses him to flirt with a married teacher who's feeling unloved by her husband by complimenting her and inappropriately touching her because it flatters his vanity that so many people are attracted to them and he sees nothing wrong with leading them on no matter what else is going on in their lives. SPOILER: Same as Henry Crawford having no moral qualms of flirting with an engaged woman, paying attentions to Fanny Price because she's the only young lady left on the estate and then even after genuinely falling in love with Fanny can't resist starting an affair with the now married woman he'd flirted with before even though he never cared for her because his vanity wouldn't let him accept a cold look from her, and as a result ruined his chances with the first woman he ever actually cared about.
Kevin has always been my favorite actor, he's adorable, funny.. and of course sexy. Not saying that there aren't, but I only wish that I could end up with a guy like that one day
I love this movie a lot💓💓. I'm really sad because they didn't end up together😞....Their relationship was based on lust💘. But the story of this film still the most wonderful story ever💗💗
she had a husband! Fyi you cant just go trying out things at the buffet while your still with some. You have to leave them first. Then you can go sample the other dishes.
Emily Blunt's voice in this movie is very... unnatural. Too high when compared to her actual voice. It's like because she's doing an American accent her voice went up in pitch.
Well she can do a way better American accent this accent was meant for the character. And it fit prudie well to. I didn't like it at first but I grew to appreciate it.
You mean the video itself?Cause, Yeah the audio to this upload got warped from its transfer from the sound of it and made her sound like a chipmunk, lol. I have this on DVD, the voices are off. Emily always kills it.
Their chemistry was amazing. He is ridiculously handsome, even Austen herself would have had a hard time resisting him.

the parts when he says "you were watching" :3
giulia ghelfi 😂😂😂
I just love how he looks at her in this scene. You could tell that he really wants to kiss her.
I wish he and Prudie ended up together in this movie! They're so cute!

He is a student and she is his MARRIED TEACHER. No on so many levels.
"it's a good accent"
YEAH BISH she's British 🤘🏼🤘🏼
How can his face be so seductive???
acspotlight ikr😂😂😂
1:03 When Kevin did tht eyebrow raise thing and lopsided lazy smile I got all weak, bruuh. :"> My BF does tht too and it just weakens my defenses. >_

I was hoping there was an alternative ending where she crosses the street and heads into the motel with Trey! LOL

Ya I was bummed.
I love Marc Blucas but Emily needed to swing from the chandelier with Kevin's character...haha!
I would have love to see them get together in the movie.

Awesome. I own a Zegers community on G+.
Anakin Skywalker cool
I'm your man!! But you must look like Emily Blunt, with out the cigarette habit, of course.
The Jane Austen Book Club. Sadly he's not in it that much. Still a good movie though, though my favorite parts were his.
i love you kevin zegers! :)
I love Kevin Zegers. Heck I wish I was that girl. 😆

maybe for him not not for Trey - and not for Henry Crawford who I think Trey is based on.
Haw-haw-hawt
what is the name of this film?
Jane Austen Book Club, it's also a novel first
God I wished she had ended up with Trey. They had more chemistry, but I don't think it gave a good message....
I still say he's like Henry Crawford from 'Mansfield Park' - he's vain and untrustworthy
Alec!!!
Yes!
I WISHD MY GF LOOKS LIKE EMILY BLUNT AND HER BROTHER AS KEVIN ZEGRS
I don’t understand this scene. What are they saying
P100

But her eyes are in the right place, doing the right thing, expressing little pieces

How hot in this part! I need to watch this movie, and he seems really good, gosh I love him **
