Boot down acid slides have very quickly became one of my favorite tricks for aggressive. Not a ton of people do them but they are amazing add on trick for your trick bag and people will hate you while playing skate. My favorite use is almost using them as a manual to link rails together.
Really well explained. Thanks for an excellent tutorial - obrigado. My skating time is crammed right now - very early stages of powerslides, powerstops and slaloming hills (very slowly!), and working up to skating a marathon - but thanks to this video the acid slide is now on the long and growing 'to-do' list!
Ok I'll give the acid another try. I've never been able so far to make those wheels slide, instead of getting stuck on the ground and make me fall in the most creative ways :'D I'll try to exaggerate the posture as much as I can and see how it goes. Obrigado Ricardo 😊
Hey Lino, a good video! That's what I really missed - tutorials for easier slides from you ;) (or maybe I have just overlooked them). I tried acid slide today for the first time, not too much progress so far but I wonder if majority of people can do it, I mean, are they agile enough? I've been trying to do a soul slide for a few weeks (I haven't found too many good tutorials for that) and I don't know if I should start stretching, I am not that agile or I do something wrong. Are you planning to do a tutorial for the soul slide? (Say yes pls xD).
Hey Lino. I was looking if you were in my village skating contest near Barcelona, yesterday. There is a commercial for powerslide's roller skates. I was thinking who stole your skates... ,😂😂
Fernando Hernandez hehhe. I wasn’t there but there were good friends of mine there. I’m now jumping on a plane to Europe. Amsterdam tomorrow 👍🏼 stay rubber as I will be posting daily 👊🏼💥
Without trying to sound rude, my I ask why? I get it can be fun but doing the trick on a curb or rail, but I hate getting flat spots on wheels. I understand cess slides and the fun of it. I've done cess slides since the 90's, I actually practiced them back with Dion Antony. I'm just asking, you can do whatever makes you happy and is fun. I'm just not used to seeing this as a tricj
All good dude. Is not rude :) I understand. Some people rather grind over everything . I respect that. This is mainly a trick for urban skates but can also be done wth aggressive skates Le I have been doing in my game with Bfree. I did a tutorial to easiest 4 grinds where acid is one of them. Check this out 👊🏼💥❤️
Well, precisely one of the reasons I'm so interested in learning this slide is that it's one of the few simple ones where the wheels slide on their outside edge, thus wearing them a little more evenly... At least that's my theory 😅 Yes sliding messes up with your wheels. But it is fun, and that's the main reason why I skate 😊
Once again FIRST to drop a like. A pitty, I don't speak any 🇵🇹... a bit 🇪🇸 but that doesn't really help. ❤
Xcalibur Gaming73 hhahaha : no problem at all! English will do 👊🏼💥

Good video/ I just bought me a pair.. waiting on my day off so I can start practicing
Thank you, I just needed to go lower and outside edge on rolling foot. No outside edge caused me to stop instantly and not slide lol.
Thanks for the tips😊
I'm still trying to muster up the courage to practice T-stops and crossovers. I'll revisit this video in the future xD
You made it so clear and simple ! Best breakdown ever , thank you 👍!

Hello Lino!
May I ask, what was the desicion not to do an acid grind and acid slide in one video?
Ok I'll give the acid another try. I've never been able so far to make those wheels slide, instead of getting stuck on the ground and make me fall in the most creative ways :'D

THE LINO LIFE I dont have enough money lol and my parents think it's a waste of money
I'd rather do an acid slide than take a hit of acid
