Masterpiece!
At 4:50, one of the most powerful guitar riffs I have ever heard.
That guitar solo was ranked top 100 of all time. Where exactly unsure but yea, it was definitely amazing.
Mark Morris was a friend of Myles & as he said sold him his first guitar. He sadly died of Cancer way before his time.
Fact: Myles was sick for this show. He still nailed it!!

Mark and Myles are song writing genius's! This one was back in 2010- 2011 during their ABIII tour, about 6-7 years before the Words Darker than their Wings live performance. Myles actually had bronchitis during this performance and still sounded amazing! Their closer song is usually "Rise Today" a fantastic song, but more of their commercial hits you should check it out!
Oh why did I think it was the same show? My bad. He had bronchitis and sounded like that? Wow.

Tremonti and Myles share song writing duties. Tremonti's solo project is worth checking out too.
Myles is The main lyricist. They are one of the rare bands that sound better live. I recommend Cry of Achilles, waters rising, isolation, fortress so basically all of their songs 😂
Myles only started playing guitar for the Blackbird album. Didn't contribute any guitar work on the first album. Myles actually started playing guitar first and calls himself a guitarist more than a vocalist. Mark and Myles share/split writing music. In some cases one song will be written solely by one or the other, but in earlier work it was a combined effort.

But i think of all, you need to check out the live version of "in Loving Memory". It was written by Mark on the first album One Day Remains, and is about Marks mother who has passed away prior.
The pure emotion and lyric meaning are fantastic, but what does it for me is the audience contributions and Myles' vocal work. As he doesn't play guitar on that track. You can see and feel the emotion from everyone on stage, especially mark, and the emotion from the audience as they sing along. Amazing piece of music.
