True story , and that led to me discovering just how incredible a vocalist Myles Kennedy is. This is actually my first time hearing this entire song outside of an Edge or Adam Copeland wrestling entrance

Other than the lead singer, the other three band members were all members of Creed, so they were already a well oiled machine capable of pumping out great music. So while first albums do often have weak points, this was not really their first album. I think of it as being similar to when Sammy replaced Dave in Van Halen. There was definitely a change to the music, but the quality was still there from day one.
All Alter Bridge stuff is Killer. I have seen Alter Bridge 3 times live. And saw Myles Kennedy with his solo tour. Get out and see them. Alter Bridge is very tight. Go back to the beginning listen to Black Bird album go from there and enjoy the ride. I'm ready to go see them live again.
I have the WWE Superstar Edge to thank for me discovering AB because back when he first started using this as his entrance music I had to search and find out what band it was right away back then

His WWE contract expired on Saturday after having his final match in WWE on the August 18th episode of Smackdown, against Sheamus. And Tomorrow night Adam will be making his first appearance on AEW Dynamite (AEW's flagship television show) and also this Saturday, Adam will be appearing on AEW Collision (AEW's Saturday night's main event type show). Adam will also be making his AEW in-ring debut on the October 10th episode of Dynamite against Luchasaurus. During the post-WrestleDream Scrum on Sunday. both Tony and Adam said that Adam is signed to a full-time contract, meaning He'll be on Dynamite, Rampage and Collision every week. Which is awesome, can't wait to see what does in AEW.

That and Mark Tremonti spent 3 years practicing lead guitar 25/7 to become one of the best lead guitarists out there! Also Myles Kennedy, in addition to being a 4 octave much better vocalist, is also a primo guitarist in his own right. He also writes approx half the songs. More intricate, heavier generally, and more interesting than Creed music was.
@@RB-oc7ti just different styles of writing, Scott stapp growing up in church, all his songs that he written all had a type of Christian under tone to his music, but I like both creed and alter bridge but if I had to pic one song it would be Creeds My own prison!
NO! Alter Bridge IS NOT CREED! They are completely their own…almost 20 years now! They are AMAZING…everything they put out is FABULOUS; lyrically, vocally, and instrumentally they are a well oiled machine.
