I have to agree with you...I love my Hellcat pro. Been moving away from Glock for a while now. Every Glock I've owned, I had to replace sights, stipple the grip or add tape and I usually install a flat face trigger or complete trigger assy. I haven't made any changes to my Hellcat Pro, I even like the sights. The days when Glock was the stand-out leader in reliability are gone. Most of Glock's competitors are completely reliable AND providing features that shooters want. Glock has not progressed with the times. My $.02

I hear you brother. I love my Glocks but they are very dated compared to the Hellcat Pro. At one time everyone had to catch up to Glock now it looks like Glock needs to catch up. Glock sights are horrible. The only thing I did was get a red dot for my Hellcat since it is an OSP. I just ordered the Swampfox Sentinel today.

Completely agree with ya bro, i carried a gen 4 19 for almost 6yrs before i switched to a HCP
Its like the HCP was molded for my hand lol
      I rotate a few others...365xl, 43x and p10s
Nothing compares to it for me...the ergos are awesome, dont have to break my grip for reloads and the stippling is fine
(sure theres talon grips but i dont see a need for them as i have pretty good calluses)
To those looking to get one look for the gear up bundle (5 mags)
Ive paired mine with a 407k GR, full mag of civil defense(liberty) and a desantis slim tuk....best holster ive found so far thats easily concealable, practical, lightweight (for 15+1) and comfortable in IWBA.
Been tossing around the idea of the tyrant +3 ext for mags

The Hellcat is snappy but it pushes the shooter to improve. If one can control/manage the recoil of this gun, one will soon realize that it is a great piece. I’ve fed all sorts of ammo in mine with thousands of rounds and not 1 single malfunction to date, it’s outright reliable. The trigger is my only gripe being a trigger snob but there are aftermarket kits for it, which I’m about to try. Thanks For this review!

I agree. I'm not a fan of 9mm but I love the Hell Cat Pro. Trigger isn't the best but Glock triggers suck too.

@@progun45 it kind of sucks to spend extra on upgrades but I’m glad to see aftermarket companies having stuff available. It’s funny to see how many people love the Hellcat “but that trigger” always comes up as an issue😂.

@@gabe1377 Just like the Glock. First thing I do with my Glocks is replace the cheap plastic sights.

It's only 9mm so recoil is very minimal. I normally carry a 10mm, not that's recoil! I was never a 9mm fan since I learned how to shoot on a 45 when I was a kid but I love the Hellcat Pro.

I edc my hellcat osp because it’s very concealable and reliable. Last week just purchased the xd-m elite 9mm 4.5 threaded barrel gear up. Gear up came with (5) 22+1 round mags and (1) 35 round mag. The elite is an awesome gun.

Great review. I agree for the most part, especially it being a perfect conceal carry but I do have a couple of things that I’m not 100% on. 1) the trigger is a little bit tricky. It has quite a bit of movement before the trigger break (which actually is a good thing for a conceal self defense handgun) but takes some getting used to. 2) this gun does have some recoil and jumps a little more than comparable guns… but again, can be no issue w/ practice and knowing the weapon.
Even with those 2 things, on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the best), it is a good 9 to 9 1/2.
    You’re right(your words)…Hellcat Pro "is that good."

For the money and what you get, especially with the gear up bundle it's a lot for the money. I don't have any issues with the trigger on mine. Glock and s&w triggers aren't much better.

First I had the G19 gen3, and was looking for something more EDC friendly. So I transitioned to a G48. It was a lot easier to EDC but, I hated the trigger, the plastic sights were hard to sight align for me and my older eyes, the grip lacked, the magazine does not flush fit, and lastly it only had 10 rounds capacity. (I did not trust the shield mag's from all the negative reviews).
Some how in my discontent mind I discovered the Hellcat, more specifically the hellcat pro! This EDC checked off all the wishlist items I did not have in my G48 and G19. My Hellcat came with bonus magazines (5) and a range bag with this bundle.

The Hellcat Pro is an awesome gun. WE all buy guns we don't like and end up trading them in for something else. :)

Nice gun but I had to replace the factory trigger with an Apex unit because I absolutely hated it. I am now able to enjoy shooting the gun. However, I'm still carrying a Glock 19.

Funny, the trigger on mine was better than the Glock trigger. I still carry the Glock 19 just not too often. I try to rotate me guns into my carry routine.

Mine was abnormally harsh and after several hundred rounds it wasn’t getting better. It could have been that mine had a factory defect I suppose but I have read other instances of terrible triggers out of the box.

Better not point the gun at the camera, you’ll make some snowflakes melt. Just kidding. Just wondering how the trigger compares to a stock Glock. Looks like a nice little pistol. I hope there is aftermarket support for it. I think I would have a hard time with the sights too. Great video sir.
